Jeff or PNF...who are your picks for Mr. Irrelevant? I'm sure he's going to go 95th overall.

Didn't think Hughes was more than a 7th rounder. Strange pick. I would have taken Hicks who just went two picks later.

Nick Foles is a waste of a pick there. Charlie Frye 2.0 and you can quote me on that.

Akiem Hicks, from the University of Regina via LSU, to the Saints. I kinda like it, that's the good kind of different IMO.

Haha my call was Presbyterian CB Justin Bethel. Jeff has Old Dominion DT Ronnie Cameron.

Jeff, you know enough about Bequette, what do you think of him?

Its like they are trying to see how big of a reach they can make with each pick past Richardson in this draft.

Haha T.Y. Hilton to the Colts. Fun player to watch but Andrew Luck might have trouble finding him.

High effort, high-character, high-cut OLB/DE tweener that can also play TE if needed. Backup guy that can play on passing downs, will be good on special teams. Will be a coach down the road, that kind of guy.

Y'all remember a year ago when I loved Jerel Jernigan? TY Hilton is the same friggin' guy. I learned my lesson: Jernigan didn't catch a ball and only returned like 10 kicks all year for the Giants.

I kinda like this pick by the Raiders, Bergstrom was an All-Pac-12-caliber lineman at Utah. Most likely a RG in the NFL.

He's almost as old as Grandpa Weeden.

I don't really understand the age complaints. If the guy can play, I think you take him. Look at all of the 1-3 rounders that burn out within 3-5 years. It's not a long-term game for many of these guys.

I'd rather have a decent 25-30 year-old for the next 5-8 years than a 22 year-old that burns out by the time his rookie contract is up.

Take Weeden, for example. If he's a starting QB for 8-10 years and Tannehill becomes a bust, Weeden was the far better pick. Certainly better than the one or two second-day QB's that will never amount to anything.

He can play right away at RDE. Sets the edge against the run. Worked a lot of magic running twists and stunts with McClellin, knows how to move in space when asked. Has some ball awareness issues and doesn't shed hands well, but he can play. Better than Billy Winn for sure.

The only issue with Weeden's age is if he isn't good right away. If he comes in and is better than Colt McCoy--and he will be--then his age in an asset. QBs routinely play into their late 30s. If he can start and not need replacing for more than 5 years, it's no problem.

And as someone about to turn 40, hearing a 28-year old being called grandpa really makes me feel good about myself. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to use some Just For Men and pop a Centrum Silver...
