I laughed so hard when I saw JJ featured against Granger as a splash image for the pacer's site.

He should be...JJ clearly plays better as a starter (and most "shooters" do)...but I would be surprised since SVG has always started Jrich over him.

Probably not. He should absolutely 100% start over either J-Rich or Hedo. I think the only way he starts is if he starts over Hedo and J-Rich plays SF.

Let's go Magic! Shock the world baby 8-)

that would be sick if we take this series just to shut up all the meida outlets about how we are gonna lose no matter what and roll over. i dont care if we lose in the 2nd round but if we make it out of the 1st...it would truly be awesome.

I think The Magic have the ability to take this series although it will be tough. Indiana is a underrated team. There size at the wings is outstanding. They are the Denver Nuggets of the East.

I do expect this to go at least 6 or 7 games and remind everyone of "Heart and Hustle".

It would be nice just to have a good series even if the Magic get knocked out just so we can think about basketball to end the year.

As always.......................................

GO MAGIC!

I don't think there's anyone on Indy with any upside, at least a lot of Magicians have potential to step up here.

SVG is still hiding whether Hedo will start or not. If he does, I'd imagine Redick will be the first man off the bench.

Let's steal one of these first two.

I'm putting this out there now, Granger is overrated and won't show up when it matters. He may have 1 good game, it may come tonight, may not, where he scores 25-35 points or so. Then he's going back to mediocrity. All Hedo has to do is be consistent and Q-Rich needs to be his usually annoying self on defense.

let's be realistic here it's going to be a tough series....i'm all for the ra ra stuff but...this is going to be a tough one....but it's never easy in the playoffs....we are true underdogs this time......Stan's coaching abilities will be put to the test in this series....this could make or break his future tenure with us......

If there is a game for the taking, it's the opener.

Indiana might not be prepared mentally.
Basketball is driven by three principles:

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

You underrate him quite a bit.

22 ppg 7 rpg 4 apg on 47% is what he averaged against the best defense in the league last year int he playoffs.

Post All-Star break 19.5 ppg 5.5 rpg 2 apg 45% from the field 41% from 3 90% from the line, he's played like an easy all-star given the Pacers record after the break, if anything he's become very underrated nationally, he's the unquestioned first option on a equivalent 53 win team, what other guy like that gets talked about less? None of them.

As for upside, Paul George has huge, upside, and is widely believed to be potential star material and is only 21 years old, Hibbert is capable of huge games and made all-star and if you're expecting injured/rehabbing West, which he was most of the season you will be dissapointed, he's back in his NO form, averaging 15/8/3 on 55 percent from the field in April, and has had games of

20-5/2-1 on 9-19
32-12/2-1 on 13-22
21-14-7 on 9-14
and 22-14-4 in 23 minutes

within the last 6 or so games of the season.

Fans should believe in their team, but shouldn't put down the other team, especially falsely in their attempt.

Good luck though guys, honestly, it sucks how much the Howard situation has spun out of control, and good luck in the future as well.

Alright, its going to be tough without Dwight Howard, but for the rest of the year, love it or hate it, this is our team. So I'm not going to mention Howard's name again until this series is over, let's go Magic! Surprise everyone. Hit them hard early when they might be overconfident and anything can happen.

I always feel like game #1 is bigger for the underdog, so let's do this!

I've got Magic in 7. Experience to take the series in its final game when it matters most.
