Orlando Magic Daily ‏ @OMagicDaily
Otis Smith made no promises of big moves. But he said the team will "110%" do what is best for the franchise.

Man I hate this team so much smh

It's like management is so oblivious to what is going on in front of them. I'll just say that it's a "smoke-screen." That will make me feel better.

otis gone, svg gone but will be missed. Somehow dump jrich/duhon for scraps. Get under cap to sign another player in 13 along with howard. Draft good/maybe move up a couple places(pressing needs: sf and or pg). Trade for some veteran toughness. And add a backup c.

Yeah, seriously.

Dwight has given 8 years and the tacked on one more, he's done his part. Want him to extend? Give him a reason to.

yeah otis smith won't be making any "big moves", just the small move of putting his crap in a box and taking it to his car.

I think we're about to get "Horneted" basically meaning the same thing that happened to the New Orleans Hornets with CP3. CP3 asked for a trade the summer of 2010 (we almost had him smh) and they refused and said they'll make moves to improve the team around him. He played a year and they failed in the playoffs. Summer of 2011, they got no talent, CP3 is up for an ETO, and he asks for another trade. The Hornets gave him an ultimatum and CP3 made the no-brainer decision by bolting for LA.

For me, it's going to be frustrating to watch this team crumble, knowing they can't improve the roster, and result to trading the superstar player. To me, that's the ultimate failure of sports management.

Josh Robbins ‏ @JoshuaBRobbins
Alex Martins said there's no timetable on decisions, but he doesn't want to leave anyone in limbo.

Confirming, someone's getting axed. It's just a matter of time.

Please no. I feel that has to be the worst thing to watch as a fan.....

Our only advantage is, people have actually shown interest in coming to Orlando. Ellis, Crawford, CP3, SJax, Josh Smith.....all of these guys (and many others that I know I'm leaving out), have shown interest in coming to Orlando.

Our only hope is that we are able to snatch one of the major players here.

I actually have mixed feelings about Stan,

I've always been a big fan of his, but the last couple of weeks/months there have been some things he did that made me shake my head

Like DJ said, a guy like Stan shouldn't look at paychecks or history when rotating.

He should've kept Duhon's worst-player-in-history-i'm-rich-bitch ass on the bench and let Ish play
He should've played Liggins or Wafer more, who cares if they're experienced or not, the things they do defensively and, in Von's case, offensively are the things the others didn't give us

Of course he didn't cost us this series, but with some small changes we could've avoided one of Indiana's big runs ..

After everything that's happened, I think it's best for everyone that Stan & the Orlando Magic should part ways. Too much has happened. Stan doesn't deserve this, he's still a great coach, no one will deny. But I think some people have lost trust in him, and I don't think that can be restored.

I'm not even gonna start about Otis. That guy has been a cancer to our team for years now. I just hope he didn't "kill" Dwight Howard in the body of the Orlando Magic

the ultimatum is a bad move. we need changes regardless if dwight stays or not. the focus should not be on dwight, not yet.

Stan (they didn't say his name) is not the kind of guy to sit someone that's getting "paid"... to sit someone like Duhon, Hedo, J-Rich, etc. ... Stan doesn't have the "guts" and respect to sit down those "paid" veteran guys when they are playing terribly.

Doc Rivers does it, Thibs does it, Phil does it, Pops does it... Stan doesn't

That really hit home to me... when the Inside the NBA website is updated with the video, I'll post it.

But man, that's so true.

The video is now available. http://www.nba.com/insidethenba/

The video is titled "The Impact Of Good Coaching".

Jarrod N Rudolph @JRudolphSports

Sources say Orlando Magic have interviewed Adonal Foyle, Director of Player Development, for General Manager position.

Foyle seems like a smart dude, but we need a GM who can separate business from his personal life.

Otis got way too close to some of our players.

I'm not sure Foyle could do that, considering the amount of ex-teammates we currently have on this roster.

Jarrod N Rudolph ‏ @JRudolphSports

Foyle is believed to be the favorite if a change is made.
