Again... it was just an initial impression... I'll reserve FULL judgement when he has completed an entire season on the job. Why do I have to keep repeating myself? I've said that a few times already on this page, lol

Probably Otis just told him "If D12 changes his mind again during the conference, just calls NJ's GM and accept the deal, ok?".
Again, I'm not blaming him entirely... I'm just saying it's my first impression of him as an acting GM, and it's not a good one... I'll still give him the benefit of the doubt if he becomes GM and he has a full season under his belt on the job... but whether it was for hour or longer, that was just my initial reaction to him... but there are OTHER reasons why I'm not too sure why he should be our new GM... one of them being we need someone with EXPERIENCE.
Even you (and many others) would have to agree with that... in fact, I think everyone did for the most part:
If Adonal Foyle is our next GM you will?http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1173754

But i dont think its a good idea to have him as our GM, maybe Ast. GM. Thats a good position to start his FO career, IMO.
Having another guy from Golden State scares me.

Foyle was born in Canouan, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. At the age of 15, Foyle was adopted by Joan and Jay Mandle, professors at Colgate University. In 1999, Foyle graduated from Colgate magna cum laude with a history degree.

My preference is for an experienced GM.....I think the Magic have proven time and time again that OJT for new GM's is an absolutely dimwitted move.

Or, maybe I'll just throw something.
And that's just Page 1 of that thread. It goes on for the next 3 pages.
