A lot of people on facebook have multiple accounts. One for their real one, one for facebook apps such as Mafia Wars, Farmville, etc, and one for promoting businesses. You can even buy facebook accounts or if you know of anyone who doesn't use facebook, you can take it over with their permission as long as you change the name, photos, etc.

Someone kept me up all night with slowass "instant" messaging so goodnight finally, 4:30am here damn east coast time sucks. My last night in florida, toodles hoes

Well if he had another account, without timeline, that he wanted to use... I'm sure he would know and wouldn't be inquiring dearly.

My roommate has his language set to "1337" speak and the language isnt supported anymore so he's not on timeline yet.

Just because you never heard about it, doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Like I said, there's another part of facebook that deals with just facebook apps and games. People spend thousands of dollars on the games like Mafia Wars and deal and trade the accounts.

I figured tugs didn't know about it, so thats why I mentioned it to him. That's one way to get rid of timeline and I've seen my friends on facebook do it and added their friends on their 2nd account. So quit your wtf comments to yourself please.

*Update, I just created a new facebook account. It does not make your account with timeline.

thanks Sofa,but I can't change/make another account. Apparently there is an app that reverts your profile back to the old layout but only you and the others who installed the app can see the changes.

Write a letter to facebook and demand for the old layout back. I'm sure plenty have done the same.

And yea pretty sure it would be pointless to make a new account for that either way since they're switching to the new layout

I just had the funniest thing happen! I gotta tell you guys and gal(s). So, this girl came in about a week or so ago and was sending money via Western Union to El Salvador. At first she just wanted to know rates but the Western Union software we use was asking for a name to be put in the customer's boxes to check rates. I had just been talking to a friend on fb about 90s basketball and the Jazz Center Greg Ostertag came up as we talked about the years the Jazz swept and pounded the Lakers 4-1.

So this girl comes in and I'm checking rates, the first name that pops up in my head is Greg Ostertag so that's what I put as a name. The girl said she'd be sending the money so I just finished the transaction and that was it. Today she comes in and tells me how the sender was shown as Greg Ostertag and that her boyfriend was the one receiving it so he got mad at why some guy was sending him money when it was supposed to be his gf :lol:

the boyfriend decides to google the name hoping to find a fb (very jealous guy) and finds it's a professional basketball player. Completely confused and distraught that his girl may be seeing an ex-NBA player he calls her pissed off and sort of sad she said. She's laughing the whole time and well now I changed it. Nevertheless, I thought it was HILARIOUS! :lol:

Sounds like it, I was telling my boss and he's having a ripping good laugh as well. He instantly recalled who Greg Ostertag was when I mentioned the name. While on the topic, I wonder what Greg is up to now? He was playing in the D-League trying to make a comeback right??
