This is (essentially) what I posted in the Lakers/Denver thread on the General NBA Discussion board:
Game 7 is going to come down to how much the refs let the Lakers get away with and how well Denver can overcome the calls that will go against them.
Denver is the faster team. Denver has more depth. Sessions and Blake are overmatched by Miller and Lawson. Gallinari and Afflalo had 12 assists between them [in game 6]--the Nuggets play team ball, unlike LA which relies on Kobe or Bynum. As the series goes on, the stamina and quickness of Faried is more than negating Pau's height and skill level. McGee has had his moments of effectiveness against the Lakers, even in LA. Brewer's speed has really hurt the Lakers.
I think Denver has all the momentum but with game 7 being in LA, the refs are the Lakers' advantage. I watched the end of the Celtics/Hawks and the officiating brutally favored the home team and the team that always gets the calls, Boston. I expect the same in LA.
Can Denver prevail with a young team? I expect Faried to get two quick fouls and I expect both Bynum and Artest to knock down Nuggets as if they are bowling pins (with referees passively allowing this to go uncalled). LA might win in a blowout if they're hitting threes.
