I'd do that if dwight decided not to re-sign with Orlando. The two mental midgets on the same team together! Howard and lebron

But with potential to be the best duo ever.

Assuming some team helps out the Heat in the off season to better their roster, it would have to be the Washington Bullets:

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ctc5ryw

( Miami also recieves Bullet's lottery pick that turns out to be Andre Drummond)

I actually thought I was a patient person until this thread was created.

I refresh every two-three hours, just wanting to read something.....anything......

I forgot how rough off-seasons can be after early exits in the playoffs. This one will be amplified by ten given our current situation.

I feel the same way. Trying to be patient but it's hard especially since the Magic are being very quiet about all of this.

My gut tells me that Alex knows something about Dwight and that is why it is taking this long, but then again it could be nothing and they are still reviewing everything

Okay before any of you guys jump down my throat, this proposal is only IF Dwight makes it clear that Orlando is not in his plans. Mavs seem to be the prize destination but they have nothing of value to offer unless you want to rebuild around a 35 yr old Dirk. Bostons only piece is Rondo and they will need him to convince Dwight to stay. Brookyln is a mess as D-Will already has 3 feet out the door to Dallas.

Dwight and Hedu for Elton Brand, Iguodala, Nikola Vucevic, 15th pick

Comparing it to the Melo Trade

Vucevic > Mozgov
Iguodala > Gallinari
15th pick > WIlson Chandler
Brand Expiring + getting rid of Hedu contract > Felton

C. Vucevic/Orton
F. Glenn Davis/Brand/Clark
F. Igoudala/Q-Rich
G. J-Rich/JJ Redick
G. Nelson/Duhon

Plus 2 first round draft picks (Austin Rivers/Fab Melo) or (Meyers Leonard/Marquis Teague)

This team isn't going to scare anyone but not a bad option if your entering rebuilding mode. Elton Brand 18million, Nelson 7.8million, Iggy 14.7 million, JJ Redick all coming off the books. Gives you some serious leverage to make a huge run in free agency. Assuming you bring back Iggy for a cheaper contract than what he signed 5 years ago your looking at a core of Vucevic, Davis, Iggy, 2 2012 first rounders, a potential lottery pick in 2013 and a big name free agent you can haul in.

There is a couple of flaws in my opinion with your depth chart.
A) Elton Brand would not come off the bench
B) Glen Davis would start at Center
C) Orton is not going to be resigned. So you move Vucevic to back up Center
D) You try to throw Duhon in the mix to get rid of his ugly contract.

As much as I would like it to happen it is highly unlikely to go through from Philly's side

Yes. Lot of people here surprised there is nothing coming out of Orlando.

Howard probably wouldn't sign an extension with Philly and that'd keep that from going through. He has his list of like 3-4 teams that he's to stubborn to expand. He apparently didn't even want on the Lakers or the Rockets. So good luck.

^ I think if he will not stay you send him to Houston and try like hell to dump JRich and Hedo with him for the two 1sts Martin(expires)/Parsons/Lowry

Lowry/Doodie
Martin/JJ
Parsons/Clark
Anderson/
?

This would also give us 3 1sts this year go with T. Zeller - K. Marshall - best available

I do think that Orton will be re-signed, we didnt pick his option, but he showed some potential in the final games when D12 was out. I'd re-sign him to a cheap contract like the one that Clark got last offseason.

BTW, i dont see Nelson staying in Orlando if we trade D12, he would opt-out, IMO.

Only reason I had Nelson staying is because of the 7million hes owed. He'll be lucky to get 4 mill in the open market, so I think he would stick out another year to get that fat check IMO
