Said one assistant GM: "There is going to be a point in the first round where someone is going to say, 'I'm nervous about him, but he by far is the best talent.' "
If Lamb is gone, I can see BC being the GM to think the same way.

Enjoy.

Jones wowed early. He's unusually quick and fluid for a player his size. While he's not a lights-out shooter, he's got a nice stroke and knocked down 7-of-15 from NBA 3-point range in one drill. He's also a solid ball handler for his size and looked very comfortable running all the drills on the perimeter. What was most impressive was his explosiveness in the paint. When Jones hit the lane, he blasted off the ground for a number of thunderous, highlight-reel dunks.

No I can't, there are just too many guys with good motors and lots of upside, and who play a natural position rather than leave you guessing where they can contribute most - or harm you the least.
I'm very skeptical we'd draft Jones or Lamb.

Great find DG88!
I still firmly believe the Anthony Randolph comparison is whack. Though in the Chad Ford interview I thought he was going a bit overboard with the Durant/McGrady comparison. Slow down young fella, let's not jump the gun, why don't you show us the real PJ III first.

Aidin wrote:"I don't like that guy. I don't. I don't," Jones told Yahoo! Sports after a workout at Peak Performance Project here this week. "That guy from last season didn't do too well. He didn't do too well at all. I feel like I got a lot to prove. I got a lot of expectations. I want to be successful.
"I want to be an All-Star at the end of the day. Not just be a player who plays a couple of years or a could've been, should've been. I want to be an All-Star."

Fair enough. At 8 I have Lamb/PJ III/ Lillard / Anyone Mufasa dislikes![]()
My question to you and Undefeated is: if Lamb is off the board and we are drafting 8th.. Who do you take, and why?
Assuming 1-7 consists of: Davis, Beal,MKG,Robinson,Barnes,Drummond,Lamb.

I don't think he's jumping the gun, he said in an earlier interview that he doesn't really compare himself with NBA players much but in terms of length he likened himself to KD/TMac.
No matter how much he has underwhelmed, he's supposed to say stuff like he said in the video (something along the lines of being a #1 pick), I'm sure his agent's prepped him in what he should say in interviews.
I'm just glad this recent "revival" of his draft stock (which everyone expected given how well he's done in previous workouts) was for the most part able to silence the people saying he's a tweener and not a small forward.

Since when was Perry Jones III a good rebounder?
he's not a great rebounder but he put up a respectable 7.7 rpg. Positionally (if he plays the 3 as he states he wants to) that is above average for an SF. He's got the length to do it, the instincts aren't perfect but it can be worked on with the tools he has.
