for anyone who cares I have a dilemma.

see, the position that I was telling you guys about, I already applied for that, got interviewed and they are very interested. they're just waiting for me to resign here.

PROS:
-could land me a regular position
-the pressure to work is there; I'd learn a lot
-I MAY have weekends to rest

CONS:
-boss wouldn't allow me to study
-10-20x more work (but with a lot of help)

then, I learned today that my other colleague would be studying in Belgium for 2 years.

PROS:
-we have the same job description/function
-he has a regular position
-I don't have to resign here and I can transfer there
-I can pursue graduate studies

CONS:
-positions isn't open yet
-their eyeing someone else to fill the position (though I'm more qualified)
-slow career growth since there is less pressure
-no weekends
-lot of work but less than above mentioned but with less to no help at all

so? thought?

If its a job that moves you up the ladder and you can make alot of money, why not go for the new job?
