Roy Oswalt signs with the Rangers

Texas Rangers have agreed to terms with Roy Oswalt as Martin Perez continues to struggle at AAA. As Weaver gets his back checked out, and Halladay hits the DL...Rangers pull the trigger and sign Oswalt before they lose out on him.

And the rich get richer. The Rangers are the best team in the majors. By a pretty significant gap. Unless you really believe the early season success from the Dodgers, Orioles, White Sox, and Nationals.

They definitely have the most talented offense in the game right now, and by offense I mean they have Josh Hamilton to rely on, but I don't really think Oswalt will make much of an impact.

I think the Rangers have the best lineup: Kinsler, Andrus,Hamilton,Beltre, Young, Cruz, Napoli, Moreland, and Murphy. You can't pitch around anyone in that lineup. You pitch around Hamilton, Beltre could punish you.You pitch around Hamilton,Young could punish you. Maybe not by a home run, but he could get a double. And you get the point here.
