Drake is a stellar 25 year old Canadian rapper, who enjoys things like wine spritzers and $6,000 socks. T. Boone Pickens is an old white Texan oil billionaire, like something from a cartoon. Twitter just made their worlds crash.

Drake, in a suitably Drake moment of self-reflection, tweeted that "The first million is the hardest." Helpful for the rest of us—apparently the dude has made some money? Are you impressed? T. Boone Pickens, who apparently follows Drake on Twitter, sure isn't, replying "The first billion is a helluva lot harder" with a mic-drop retweet.
At this point Drake's laptop screen probably exploded in his face, but he was able to reply with some (deserved) humility: "@boonepickens just stunted on me heavy." Yes he did.

There has never before been a point in history when a young black guy rich off of Canadian soap operas and luxury super-rap could exchange words with a quasi-eccentric super-rich octogenarian who loves wind power. Now they can—in public. And that, simply, is awesome.

oh. i've already heard snippets of the tracks that are going to be on it and that album is going to be terrible compared to what i'm used to. him going to warner brothers was a mistake.

I never cared to put anything Lakers related in my username, especially not for a player. I would however, accept a username of "Jello's Jigglin" I don't think i'll ever change my name, at most I may add a capital somewhere in there but that's it

compared to pilot talk 1 & 2, you can easily tell he's gotten away from what he used to do. the beats aren't as chill and mellow and he's got a ton of features on it. whereas on the pilot talks it was a few features here and there and they either were members of jetlife or some other artists that aren't mainstream. that wale track is horrible and the one daz dillinger is too.

then he left dame's label and he released weekend at bernies which i didn't like that much but for the most part had the same mellow vibe as his other work, so i gave it a pass. he released jet world order and the only track i listen to off that is excellent. then he released a mixtape with styles p that is absolute garbage. him leaving dame dash was a terrible mistake, he doesn't have nearly the resources to make music like he once did with warner bros.
