Exactly. People were arguing w/ Undefeated about this and that blah blah about how he doesn't get to the hole, I'm like, every prospect has at least 1 or 2 flaws, what are you expecting, a superstar? Those people should stop complaining about this or that about him, at 8th if you can get his type of talent level, that'd be a freaking huge steal.

I didn't wanna post it but that's exactly what I was thinking about in the clip :o

lack of motor (skills)?

All I see is a pretty boy who's ready to be our starting 2 guard. My God he has a gorgeous shot and great handle.

I like this guys skills but
"Some people say Rip Hamilton and Ray Allen but I think I could be like maybe Jamal Crawford??"

This guy seriously needs more confidence fire and aggressiveness. If he wants to be an all-star he needs to be a killer on the court. Only using his handles for step back jumpers isn't enough, he really needs to attack the basket a lot more.

TBH i'd rather see prospects underhype themselves than see guys like PJ3 saying Kevin Durant, and I actually like PJ3.

I think D.Casey is the perfect coach for this kid. If he can get Bargs to play D. He can push Lamb to be his best.

I find it pretty hilarious that Lamb, who is known his lack of focus, energy and his lazy demeanour... compared himself to Rip Hamilton and Ray Allen, who are without doubt two of the hardest working, most relentless off-ball offensive players of all time.

You've never actually watched Jeremy Lamb work off the ball, have you? I didn't think so...

So you're pretty much confirming that you've never seen him play by avoiding the question with lackluster humour, right?

Yeah man, that is the most off-based statement I've ever heard about Lamb. Everyone knows Lamb is a very hard worker always moving off the ball. He literally never stays in the same spot no longer than 2 seconds. So, I don't get all this talk about his motor when the guy never stops moving despite being looked off by his ball-hogging teammates consistently.
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

Sigh...no...I said his off ball work ethic doesn't even come close to that of Ray Allen or Rip Hamilton...then I pointed out that one minor negative comment on Lamb always gets someone comPLETELY fired up...plus...you answered the question for me when you said "I didn't think so..'..even though, despite what you think, I have seen Lamb play many times.

I agree with that, he has a better chance to reach his potential with a Casey type of coach instead of a Jay Triano. Maybe Casey can light a fire under this guys butt so he can maximize his skills and be more aggressive.

Clearly, you haven't, but if you wanna lie to cover up your original statement that's fine. Like Undefeated said, he never stops moving off the ball. If you watched him play, you'd know that.

Now clearly someone is ignoring 2/3rds of this season. Anyone remember the 3 guard lineup featuring Napier, Boatright and Lamb? Anyone remember seeing Lamb run around trying to get open...no because it didn't happen.

I like Lamb as a prospect with the 8th pick but he's far from "lamb of God" status.

Edit: Short Mike don't you dare chime in now as you clearly haven't watched any regular season games.

Lamb is the SG version of Rudy Gay

I think most would agree he's more Durant then Gay. He's perimeter oriented, soft, and has good handles.

Bottom line is you have to respect his shooting ability. The fact that he can create his own shot and has a good handle. Add to that he is known to be good defender and he jumps out of the gym and at 8 that looks like a hell of a selection. Would Lillard be a better positional fit and an equally good scorer maybe. But Lillard looks like a swing guard and Lamb is clearly a shooting guard. BC mentioned there are 2 -2's (Beal/Lamb) 2 - 3's (MKG/Barnes) and 2 -4's (Robinson/AD). The fact that he mentioned 2 - 2's means Lamb is squarely on the radar. He never said 2 point guards at 8.
Lamb pushes DD to play SF for better or worse
Lillard ups the future talent at guard and might mean the end of Bayless
PJIII means we are going with height, upside and raw ability
Sullinger means we want an NBA ready body and will move the logjam at PF
T-Jones I wouldn't rule out to play SF for us either
Waiters is a trade down proposition and is a shooting guard

Didn't happen. You and I never watched UConn play. We never discussed them during the season, and we never had petty arguments during game threads. He never forced the coach to bench him because he visibly quit on the team in the final ten minutes of a close game. Never happened.

I'm just tired of you don't watch basketball games in response to motor comments, when its DAMN **** CLEAR IF YOU WATCHED MANY UCONN GAMES THAT HE HAD MOTOR ISSUES AT TIMES.
