Kemba
Henderson/Rivers
PJ3/UPS
Robinson/Mullens
Biyombo/Mason Plumlee?

one more lotto pick next year, then we'll be a bonafide playoff team

we'll have 1 player with superstar potential, and 3 players that can be perennial all-stars. then we'll have a potential sixth man of the year type of player off the bench.

Theres no way Robinson falls to 6 in my estimation. If he did this would be a scenario of beauty. PJ3 would also help us out against 4s with too much size on Robinson.

If we could snag PJ3 and Robinson in this draft and still have Biyombo and Henderson without trading any of our (not including Portland 2013) future firsts I would be thrilled. It would give us someone reliable and ready from day 1 in Robinson and a exciting to see what happens boom/bust er in Jones.

Someone please explain the Thomas Robinson love. He's not even on Derrick Williams' level imo. Not seeing the reason behind the hype.

T-Rob is the prototypical PF (hes 6'10 in shoes) with a high motor, and has great character, great work ethic, and is loyal to his team. hes also built like an ox. hes basically a more skilled but slightly less athletic blake griffin.

I really don't understand the MKG hype. His floor is Tony Allen and his ceiling is a less athletic Gerald Wallace. Can someone explain why people think he is the 2nd best player in a loaded draft ?

Andre Drummond has too much bust potential, he has basically like a 40% chance of realizing those odds, I don't like em. If you want a boom/bust pick you should look at PJ3, hes way too skilled to totally bust out, he literally just needs the right coach

the only 2 players I would be happy with if we only had to get one player out of the draft would be T-Rob and PJ3. My dream would be us ending up with T-Rob and PJ3. but you can rest assured, PJ3 will be a star in this league, hes basically has the same potential on the offensive end AD does on the defensive end.

MKG is a bigger project then Drummond, only people who think we should draft him are ill-informed of his game or are too enamored by his hustle. hes not the type of player we need

i can agree with this. i would probably take jonas over everybody else in this draft other than davis.

I still think Cleveland blew that 4th overall pick last year by taking Thompson over Valanciunas

I like Thompson as a player, but more as an energy guy off the bench.... he can rebound, block some shots, make some baskets around the basket....

but Valanciunas had wayyyy more upside IMO

problem is, Cleveland wasnt willing to wait a year to get him.... they went for the quick fix to sell to the fans

but in reality, it wouldnt have mattered because Cleveland was going to be bad this year anyway, and in reality, they want to be bad next season as well to get another high pick to continue building around Irving

I have a feeling they may regret that decision in a couple of years

I really wish we could have ended up with Valanciunas AND Bismack. Our front-court would be set and we wouldn't even need Anthony Davis.

Last year, would have considered it.

With his injuries, no. I wouldn't want him playing more than 25 mpg here (what his father did back in the day) because of injury concerns.

I wouldn't consider that deal unless it went at a premium; #7, #30, #35, and Curry might get it done. I would rate Curry alone as having mid-to-late first value due to injury concerns and then you have to consider the talent difference between #2 and #7.

Unless someone is willing to overpay for #2, I'd rather keep the pick.

I can buy Drummond's potential max out ceiling being higher than Robinson's but it's not by a big margin. Besides, for Drummond to reach his max potential he'd actually have to learn how to play basketball

5. SAC - Barnes

Get Robinson at 6, Lamb at 11?

if that somehow worked, that would make me very happy in trousers.
