 wut

You just changed my opinion out with your own...why even quote me if you're just stating your own opinion?

I'm not trolling I just feel that there is a chance Dwight leaves and there is a chance Dwight stays, and I'm not so sure we will get lucky. I would consider your refusal to accept the fact that Dwight could possibly leave as trolling, but I think it's actually a deep rooted psychological abandonment issue involving your father and/or ex-girlfriend.

Really? He was a sh**itty coach?

Let me remind you. He was our coach during the 1999-2000 season. SI predicted us to win 13 games that season. We had NO talent. With him as coach, we went 41-41 and missed the playoffs by ONE game. Not only that, but he has won a championship with the Celtics and has managed to keep those ego's in check.

He is one of the best coaches in the league. If you have a chance of bringing him to Orlando, you shoot for the chance.

I think Doc Rivers is overrated as a coach but I'd prefer him as a coach rather then the VP or GM.
Not changing this Sig until the Orlando Magic win a championship (Technically Started 1-30-08)

Did yall here Broussard also say, that Dwight is not totally gone yet. That if Orl make the right hires at GM and Coach that he would stay rather then leave???

Is that what he said? I had the tv on mute briefly. Not really news, but Broussard certainly has his sources.

Meh I would rather listen to Rudolph than Broussard, but I think Dwight really did have his eyes on Brooklyn & when they failed to get the top pick he realizes DWill is probably gone & the best chance to win is staying in Orlando rather than a place like Houston.

Ya, during his notebook part of the show. He said everyone is saying he is leaving, but not so fast. And then he said that if ORL can make good GM and Coach moves, and some trades that they have a good shot at keeping him.

You left the part about trades out the first time. So basically nothing new... we already know he will consider staying if the right moves are made. The problem is we are very limited with our assets and salary. What we need is a GM who can sell him on a vision for 2013 and beyond.

Yeah, the trades part is the kicker. The hires can be made, but those trades...

Id say that Doc has learned to substitute well and he doesnt panic and he does a pretty good job relating to players..he actually improved during his time with Boston..IMO
out of difficulty comes opportunity.

I never thought he was a bad coach here, we didn't have the talent. i wouldn't mind Doc back in some sort of office role.

i been gone for the weekend, and still no GM.... lets get this rolling Alex.

24 days until the draft and we have no head coach or GM, and by knowledge have only interviewed a single candidate for those positions. wtf.

If i had to guess, i'd say that Rudolph IS where Broussard gets most of his Dwight info/rumors from.
A smart coach once said, "Potential just means you're not good enough yet." Playing on potential is like living on air: It's essential, but if thats all you have, you're eventually going to starve.

Cry me a river. The Magic have a very strong tradition for being one of the younger franchises in the NBA. And the Devos' have pretty much been there from the beginning. Tired of seeing posts talking as if the Magic are some incompetent, bungling, group of idiots. I'm growing as impatient as anyone, but let's see who the hires are before bashing em, huh?

Doc is a damn good coach, anyone who says otherwise isn't paying attention. He always thinks big picture, he can get through to the players without making them feel humiliated, he ALWAYS stands up for his team in the media, SVG way to often threw players under the bus publicly.

Doc learned alot from Thibadeau if he wanted to come back he should be hired without hesitation
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

I'm just glad none of you actually run this organization.

"I WANT A GM."
"WHY IS THIS TAKING SO LONG?"
"ARE WE THERE YET?"
"I WANT MORE SUGAR ON MY CEREAL."
"WHY CAN'T I STICK MY FINGER IN THERE?"

If we rush our picks for these positions you can certainly begin writing your goodbye letters to Dwight.

nothing in life that is worth a damn, comes fast and/or easy, SO SHUT THE HELL UP!

children
let paid professionals do their job, don't you try and do it for them...
