It better not be. We took a C last year with out second round pick and I doubt he saw 30mins all season. What BC needs to do is package those picks along with any other reasonable assets required to move into the first round and grab a quality guy.

There's been a few murmurings that teams might be willing to move their first rounders. This would be better than taking fliers on second round picks.

I just hope the draft doesn't go something like this:
1. AD
2. Robinson
3. MKG
4. Lamb
5. Beal
6. Lillard
7. Barnes
8. DRUMMOND available, we would probably take him or PJ3 :/

What's funny is that I had lunch with Terrence Ross' agent yesterday. We talked about every possible scenario. Toronto never came up.

I thought Drummond's absolute worst case scenario was a 10/10 guy (unless you're willing to push it all the way down to Eddie Curry). I wouldn't mind taking him at 8. UConn was hugely dysfunctional last year. If we're willing to give Lamb a pass for last season, why not Drummond?

But this is moot. He'll go top five, just like DMC did.

Is Having C. JV, Drummond a good thing? I think not :/

Very unlikely Drummond falls past all 3 of SAC, POR and GS at this point. SAC and POR are basically looking to draft big man (SAC because they definitely don't need any more perimeter players, POR because there's so many good perimeter players in this draft that they can get one at 11, making it an ideal fit if they draft big first) and GS appears more likely than I thought to draft big man because they need a 3rd guy to go beside Lee and Bogut
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

If Drummond falls to us you draft him with the fastest choice in draft history and get Hakeem on the phone ASAP! Then we laugh all the way to the big man bank!

Funny how you're all hoping for other teams to draft based on fit and need, all the while stressing that we need to pick BPA.

We have this same discussion every year.

I agree with Zeno and that what we think will happen wont and some players that we think are going top 7 are going to drop to us.

I think a Barnes or MKG can fall. I don't see how teams can pass on a 7foot athletic bigman who's only 19.

Didn't Baylor run into some trouble with the NCAA? I think that's the reason he declared, I doubt he has a promise.

Yes, they lost a couple scholarships and are to be suspended for two games but it wouldn't really affect him. They can still play in the tournament, it's not like UCONN's situation.

The way he abruptly changed his mind? I'd bet he got a phone call.

or he got fed up with being miscast as a post player and wnated to get rich

Think Marshall's floor is worse than Jose.

Ceilings seem kinda underwhelming this year with the exception of Perry Jones'

I was right on the money about both Lambs, Gilchrist, Ross, Wroten and Marshall.

I was wrong about Sullinger, T. Jones and PJ3.

I disagree. In terms of star power perhaps but there are a lot of good Tier 2 ceilings in there..especially in our range. A lot of useful players overall in this draft IMO.

That's a good thing. That means he's more than likely going to be at least a useful player in this league.

Anyone listen to Chad Ford on Simmons last week?

He was talking about the 2013 draft being one of the worst in a long, long time.........we absolutely need to get a home run out of this one and begin winning in 2013!

I am confident Drummond is going to land up top 5. No one is going to pass on him after his workouts and measurables come in.

I am really hoping for Lamb right now but would easily take Sullinger too.

Chad Ford is the Doug Smith of draft talk, go with the opposite of what he says.

If nobody drops and we have to choose between Sullinger, Lillard or P.Jones. Id draft Lillard, hes got a shot to be a very good pg in the future and we need a good young PG. I like the sound of a Lillard/Derozan backcourt, i think they would compliment each other well. Lets hope he runs a good pick and roll with Jonas.

Harrison Barnes would probably be the best fit for the raptors, he fills a need for us at SF, hes young and hes a shooter. If he drops then BC needs to draft him. I dont like him that much as a top 3 pick but at 8 hes a steal.

Agree w/ the 2013 draft. Other than Bazz and Saric, I don't see any other guys special (Noel, Adams, MCadoo etc) Cody Zeller might be a serviceable center in the top 5 draft. Ya, at 8th you can't expect much but to get the home run, I'm glad 2-8 are not far off in talent.

Isnt Noel a better shotblocker then Anthony Davis? Id say hes pretty special if thats the case. I agree that the next draft isnt as strong as this one though
