This makes no sense. LUKE is basically saying they have the best player in the league and another top 5 player that aren't playing up to their standards, so its on THEM if they lose.

You then use Wade's stats to refute that he's not top 5?

That's the point. He's a top 5 player not playing like a top 5 player. And that's on HIM.

LeBron's been very good this series. Sure he's lacked aggressiveness down the stretch, but overall he's handled a huge portion of the workload for MIA.

BTW, MIA sans LeBron/Wade are 24/81 from 3 this series. Sub 30%. They've failed miserably at their one responsibility on offense.

Obviously I meant top 5 player in general.

That's a big issue though. Wade is playing well below his norm, Bosh is out, and the roleplayers can't make wide open 3's.

LeBron definitely needs to be more aggressive in terms of trying to get to the rim, especially in the 4 quarter. But it's becomes increasingly difficult to do that against the best defense in the league, when literally no one on the team can hit an outside shot, especially in crunch time.

Yup.

When you look at it logically:

* The role players aren't stretching the floor.
* Wade hasn't been much of a threat.
* Bosh is out and they lack any sort of post presence.

That means when LeBron is driving, Boston is collapsing on him and making his life hard. Miami is trying to do a lot of things to get him going and keep him away from 2/3 defenders. They are posting him, they are using him as a screen role/pop guy.

If Miami wants to win, it's going to be on Wade, IMO. LeBron needs to keep doing what he is doing and Wade needs to... be Wade, instead of playing like he's a mediocre 2-guard.

Again, I don't think Wade was a problem last night. I thought he was more active late in the game than LeBron was.

How many times did Boston score while Wade wasn't back on defense last night? Five? He was pathetic and has been way below what he should be this series. Last year it was okay to put blame on LeBron when they lost to Dallas. LeBron didn't play up to his level.

It seriously shows how much people hate LeBron when they are trying to say that Wade is playing well right now though. Wade has been terrible by Wade standards.

Wade's complaining about fouls has gone to epic proportions.

They might legit lose this series because of waiting to complain for fouls instead of getting back on defense.

Rondo is killing them in transition fast breaks.

Wade in the first half in this series: 5.8 points, 27.5% FG%.

I expect Lebron to drop a 50 spot in Boston. This is supposed to be about Lebron vs Durant, but props to Boston for putting the paper champions on the ropes.

SAS @ OKC Game 6 coming up... Spurs should be very difficult to pin, but OKC appears to have the will to get it done.

Yeah, 50 points against one of the NBA's best defenses. Piece of cake, he's a failure if he doesn't do it.

Do people really even think when they write anything about LeBron? It's mind blowing how illogical people are when it comes to him.

Also, why is it about LeBron vs. Durant? I see that you've turned into a David Stern zombie. He's accomplished his goal of making the teams irrelevant apparently. Maybe those two should just play one on one for the NBA championship.

But who would LeBron pass to to take the last shot?

He certainly wouldn't have James Harden to bail him out after he turns the ball over against a trap when pressed.
