Apples and oranges. The point of this camp is completely different. Conditional coach wants to improve their condition and game shape, not build their bodies while risking to actually hurt their condition.

Sorry for my tone, lost my temper a bit.
I understand what you are saying, but I don't agree with it.
The thing is that a basketball player doesn't really needs to use big weights and strength is certainly not that important. Hypertrophy is not always a good thing. It is to a certain degree, but when you gain additional weight, your joints and tendons have to support a bigger body. That may result in injuries. Also you lose some quickness, which is very very important. I think it is much more important to have solid core. But you don't have to deadlift 250kg or squat 200kg to achieve that.

Sure while studying and after reading a couple of books you already know more than professional coaches who do their job at highest level for a decade or more. And you are assuming they haven't read anything and don't study new practices. yeah right

According to Facebook she's like a MTV announcer or something, VJ or whatever it's called.

So yea, they're probably celebrity acquaintances.

Supposedly Valanciunas was one of the fastest guys during sprint exercises for his national team.

It sounds like Donut will likely not be joining up with the national team.

LithuaniaBasket ‏@LithuaniaBasket
LKF found insurance for Donatas Motiejunas' potential contract with Rockets, but the player still hesitant to come & join national team.

LithuaniaBasket ‏@LithuaniaBasket
Jonas Valanciunas was insured the same way and his agents and Toronto Raptors were alright with such an insurance, but Motiejunas hesitant.

Kemzura also added this in an interview:

Have you ever speak with Donatas Motiejunas? Maybe we welcome to the Polish champion title?
- Not on a call, so far did not speak, because suddenly it became a series of complicated long. I do not want to expand into more detail, as negotiated by federal agents, they talked at the same Donato, but with him, representing the people. Tried to find a solution. I know I should meet with the same Donato, and then try to make a call, maybe then I'll tell you more. I do not want to speak now in advance that I would not prišnekėjęs unverified information.

Jonathan Feigen ‏@Jonathan_Feigen
Motiejunas will work on buyout this weekend in Treviso. National team role uncertain, but sounds like he'll be w Rockets summer tm instead.

Sucks I wanted to see him and Jonas running the floor. Just saw a new highlights from Polish finals. He runs floor special for 7'1'' guy.
