Once again, I think the current pick is phifans, and not Numbers as the first page shows.

Edit: Interesting timing there.

I got mixed up with phifans confirming that he meant the 17th pick, & forgot to edit it into the first post. Blame Miami & Boston for having an epic game 7.

Haha, yeah no worries. I guess those two knew who pick it was anyhow. Go Thunder!

I'm in the middle of editing the first post btw (just in case anyone is wondering why picks/trades aren't updated).

The Philadelphia 76ers select...

Jason Kidd - 6'4 205 PG

Another very tough selection. We definitely wanted a PG, and had it narrowed down to two. We were leaning towards the other guy, but in the end just felt Jason Kidd's winning pedigree just outweighs everything. Even at nearly 40 years old, he's still the ultimate PG. What he brings to the table is another guy who knows how to win, and a guy who will be unselfish and knows how to get the most out of his teammates.

The Indiana Pacers select Chris Kaman, C, formerly of the New Orleans Hornets.
Bryan Colangelo Elton Brand Daryl Morey: The Cause of, and Solution to, All of Life's Problems

Hill took over the starting job in indiana for collison, and outplayed him and never gave it back. He played very well in the playoffs.. he can hit the 3, and is a VERY good defender who can guard pg's and sg's

we like his ability to hit the outside shot to keep the floor spread for harden and the bigs...

we like our spacing so far... lopez can score from 10 feet away with a little midrange jumper, as well as in the post, and pekovic is a beast in the post.. harden can score from anywhere, and hill is good going to the basket and spotting up from 3

Yeah, Collison is the better player though imo ;)

Haha, I saw a picture of Gibson and I thought: 'Goddamn, there goes my pick' until I realised it was my pick lol. Thanks Trend.

Selected him to get some extra defence and grit in there and because we are convinced he can flourish in a starting role.

  No problem at all fam. Taj Gibson makes up for what Al Jeff lacks (defense/toughness). I like the pick. Your frontcourt is shaping up nicely.

Yep, that was the reasoning behind it.

A ton of great selections being made this year; that's nice to see! Keep up the good work fellas. Props to all of you for being active & keeping discussions civil. I hope we can keep this thing on a smooth road throughout the rest of the draft. :)

With all of that said, Detroit's spot is open. JordanMars drafted Kobe in the first round & hasn't been seen since.

I'm ghost for the night. Should be back on by 1-2 PM to update picks/trades. Whoever wants to takeover his team, feel free to make the missed picks while I'm gone. Peace.
