MKG's speaking issues are nothing I am considering relative to picking him. His gaps on the court are too big a problem to take him at 2.

It's Robinson or trade down for me.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I think that depending on who we trade with we can still pretty much pick who we want. Like if we trade with cleveland, that should mean beal and MKG are gone, and we can pick T-Rob (if that's who you want) or drummond or whatever. I think as long as we pat attention to the other teams and who they want we could come away with a pretty nice pick or three.

Washington won't pass on the hometown kid if he is on the board.

they have greater needs elsewhere though. Not that I want T-Rob anyway.

If we can get Beal or MKG at 4 still and get an extra pick or two that would be a HR draft.

Beal could be on the board there too. If Cleveland was picking #2, who do you think he would take?

that's what I'm thinking, If either one of those guys are there, I think Wash might pass on T-Rob no problem

I see them going Beal over Robinson. Robinson is from DC but I think Beal fits them better. Also backcourt of Wall and Beal wouldn't deal with issues of being undersized. The wizards need someone to spread the floor more than anything else. If we get Beal or Robinson at 4 and add another 1st I would be quite happy. Potentially trade that 24 and 31 for a mid teens pick and grab someone like Moe Harkless.

Kemba
Hendo
Mags/ Harkless
T-Rob
Biyombo

With that lineup we could even be in the double digits in wins column.

We'd be back in the lottery at least one more year, probably top 3 again. don't worry.

But if you ARE worried, we should take Drummond who needs a couple years to develop and will give us time to assemble a better team.

If we get the right coaches to coach this team, Charlotte needs to draft MKG. If the coaches can improve Michael's shooting then we have a superstar in the making here! MKG is the pick for me! 8-)

You make a good point, Kemba is supposed to be working to fix his shot and MKG could help him and the other way around. I don't mean that as to sound smart*** by the way I mean that would be a positive thing.

To be fair though, MKG's defense won't get us many wins right away and his offense will be shallow and pedantic.

MKG at 2 and then Dorron at 31 could be interesting. Would definitely give the Brow more cause to force his way to Charlotte in a few years.

Does he only stutter like that in front of the camera/in interviews? its just funny picturing him as a locker room leader...takes him 20 seconds to spit out a 1 sentence answer about his own strengths on the basketball floor. hope for his own sake he can get some successful treatment for that, painful to watch
