I would of rather him opted in to preserve 2013 capspace, all this means is that we will either give him a long term deal, s&t him for ? or lose him for absolutely nothing which sucke because he was one of our better trade assets.

Not like we're winning anything with Jameer anyway. Hope we can clear more caps and do something good with it.

We need to SnT him for a PG with an expiring contract.

I like this talk about trading for Harris, maybe we could even lure Millsap from them?!?

Maybe Nelson knows something about D12 leaving?

Am I reading a lot into this? I think Meer opting out tells us something about Dwight...

No way. I like Dwight rumors here and there, but this is all about the money.

I agree with the cap space but if he opted in we would have had a good trade piece that doesn't hurt our 2013 cap.

Those options aren't very appealing to me.

I don't think we have Ish either. His contract was up after this past season.

I don't think we should draft a point guard in the first round not named Kendall Marshall. The other point guards are unappealing and there's better talent at other positions. So one option is to get lucky and have Marshall fall to us.

Another option is to trade for a point guard. I'm still holding out hope that we can send JJ/BBD/19th for Monta and bring back a bad contract, Gooden, to entice MIL to deal. Again, it entails luck.

Third option is to do a sign and trade with Jameer and the team of his choice.

Fourth option is sign a free agent point guard to run the point for the future and pray that the deal isn't a back breaker. I wouldn't mind signing Felton, Sessions, Dragic, or Miller, all that right price, of course. I think this the most likely route we end up going. I wouldn't be surprised to see us bring back Jameer either.

Let's see who's at #19 before we get all excited. I like to think "how can we keep Howard". I don't know how this turn of events help that cause.

Unless our Shooting guard is capable of handling the ball,I don`t see the fit of Monta Ellis. I would like us to buy a second round pick and draft Scott Machado.
Smart / Micic / D. Wright
Wiggins / Exum / J. Adams
Parker / K. Anderson / Mcdermott
Randle / Vonleh / Stokes
Embiid / Nurkic/ Tavares

Gonna be interesting to see if Meer goes to a team to start or a contender.

I could see him going to Philly with Lou Williams opting out & fulfilling that role & being close to home.

Can we use the amnesty clause again this year, and amnesty Hedo? With him off, we would have plenty cap space...

Man, I'm gonna miss Jameer if he doesn't re-sign with us. But, it might be in the best interest of the team that we part ways. If we can re-sign him for cheap as a back-up though, we'd be set.
