I agree with CCJ that Ross is going to be special.
I agree with Dat that MKG would be our best selection.
I agree with WizD (with increasing and uncomfortable frequency) that Drummond has the highest upside and we have great mentors for him to thrive.
I like toughness, so MKG is my pick. But, risk is the key to a championship.

If the 6&11 picks for our three is true. I hope Portland are after MKG. That could mean Beal could drop past Cavs (Barnes) Kings (Drummond) and to pick 6.

Pick 11 we could roll the dice with Perry Jones, John Henson, Or even look at Jared Sullinger or Myers Leonard.

A Beal, Perry Jones draft would look great on paper.

If there's any other name apart from Beal is called at our pick, I'm going to say there's a trade coming.

Good video

I wouldn't be disapointed at all if the Wizards moved back to 6 for certain players. At 11 there should be a starting quality player.

I don't want to trade back. At all. I want our best chance to pick an all-star. To me that's probably either Beal or MKG. I'd be happy with either one. Not Harrison freaking mediocre starter Barnes.

Fine, let Cle come up and take Beal - we still get MKG. This is a fine draft to come out with even if we suck at shooting in the short term. If MKG has even a small chance of becoming LeBron lite, we jump on that.

MKG is no lebron lite. The only thing he has in common with lebron is his ability to bully his way to the basket, which i don't see him doing as effectively in the pros as he did in college. Like the kid for what he is, an athletic, hardnosed defender that's a monster on the boards and is not afraid to take it to the rack but can't be counted on to hit an outside shot with any consistency. He's gonna be more Tony Allen coming into the league than Lebron, and hopefully he'll become something more special as he develops

I know that he isn't coming here, but I was really impressed with TRob's request to workout against Drummond and to workout against anyone even-though he doesn't have-to. Supposedly he beasted Drummond in the workout.

I think Dat has it right. If Beal gets taken at 2 then we probably take Barnes. Barnes is a far better fit even though he is an inferior player. Since EG has already gone on record as saying they are trying to win now i think he goes with fit.

yeah but there is no way in the world trob would be able to guard drummond if he two had a total of three years of college basketball. Drummond as a junior destroys trob as a junior.

If the Wizards end up taking Barnes at #3, they might as well trade down because he will most likely be there at 6. I agree though that the Wizards should probably take Beal or MKG.

That will be another bad decision. Jarvis Hayes was a great guy, too.

Ariza was quoted as saying that John Walls jumper is looking great this summer. He was like "wait till you all see Walls jumper"

Let's hope this is true, if Wall stays on the same course that Rose did I expect a huge leap in Walls play this year. Walls PER is similar with Rose's through their second seasons (although Wall is a tick behind Rose)...

Rose Rookie season PER 16.0
Rose 2nd Season PER 18.6

Wall Rookie Season PER 15.9
Walll 2nd Season PER 17.7

I really cant see the bobcats taking Beal at number 2 pick. I think Beal will still be there at three i expect a shocker from Ernie. With the third pick of the nba draft the Washington wizard selects ..........Harrison Barnes :x

A draft night of Harrison Barnes and Tony Wroten would be worse nightmare.

A draft night of MKG and Jae Crowder would be my sweetest dream.

A draft night of Beal and some other dope will leave me feeling somewhere in between.

Dat, I'd be happy with MKG on draft night...tho I prefer Beal. But if it is MKG no way I want Crowder with the second pick. We'd have two more mediocre shooters on a team that desperately needs perimeter scoring. I'd want a Doron Lamb with that second pick if he's available. I'd even take Hollis Thompson before I drafted Crowder.

Crowder is a smart, hard-working defender and a decent long-range shooter. But his overall shooting and offensive game is sorely lacking, imo
