Why would they want to jump us?! There is no difference between them drafting 14 and 12 as far as the Suns are concerned....we were not getting their guy. What does letting go Dally do for their Salary cap situation?

It might be that Houston's trade partner is looking for a shooting guard.
The partner could have asked Rockets to make a trade that would make them pick before us.

well, the Bucks weren't necessarily going to draft a big. There were reports that they would go with BPA. The Rockets are trying to gain as many pics as possible to trade for D12. I really have no idea what this means for us. this draft is becoming really hard to predict. From what I understand the Rockets are not done. They are talking to the Raptors about 8 and Sac about 5.

That could be true. If they swap 12 and Lowery with Toronto, the Raptors still have a shot at their SG, Lamb or Ross.

It's not just jumping us. They are trying to clear out cap space so if they get Howard they can go after DWill. I don't think they wanted to pick up the $7M team option on Dalembert, so they decided to get something for it....just a little higher pick which might help them to be able to package these picks to move up. I think they want either Howard or Drummond. And I bet if they can't get either, they make a huge offer to Hibbert or maybe even McGee.

So they are clearing out cap space while slowly improving draft picks to make a bigger move if possible.

Lillard is a team player. He was the second most efficient player in college basketball DESPITE being the only decent player on his entire roster; teams game planned to stop him and him alone every night. I just don't see Rivers ever being anywhere near as unselfish or efficient. I think Rivers will be shocked at the athleticism and length at his position. He'll try to do the same things at which he excelled in high school, spend a lot of time on the bench, get into it with his coach and teammates, get traded in a year or two to a desperate team, put up huge numbers for a cellar-dweller for a year or two, make some money, and eventually, teams will realize he can't be the alpha dog on a winning team.

That's why I don't want him. Great read by Ford.

I dont think so. He's not going to pass beyond both Toronto and New Orleans.
One of them might pick Rivers over Waiters, but the other definitely selects the left one.

One of them might pick Rivers over Waiters, but the other definitely selects the left one.

Probably, and there is, of course the possibility that GS STILL takes Waiters at 12 if he DOES slide past everyone else and still get a sf at 16. There have been surprising slides on draft day though, and he didn't work out for anyone....everyone could be saying they like him so we will trade up and give up something else to do so.

Or GS could go Ross at 12 and best big at 16........I hope so. I just want to be able to draft Lamb and run and hide...........and sign Crash. Maybe that is why we aren't doing anything. No need to draft a bunch of young players if we are going to satify Nash's desire of acquiring talent.... Can we get Iggy or Rudy here and keep our pick this year? There are a lot of guys available on the market. Iggy and Gortat are about the same age, so those are some solid pieces...
