Not a fan of your tone recently on the boards Mr. Negative Nancy, having said that I don't think Nash will return so I agree with you on that front. I do however believe Gerald Wallace, OJ Mayo, and/or Jamal Crawford are on our radar. We will more than likely draft Marshall which we all shouldn't hate, you can teach shooting and add strength, but you can't teach what he has in court vision. As long as we bring on fire power to make up for the points Marshall will not give us I'm ok with a PG that averages 8ppg and 10apg.

We were extremely fortunate to have a PG that had such an amazing FG, FT, and 3pt percentage, but we are all completely forgetting what the PG role was intended to be, a floor general, which is Marshall's best quality.

FORD: Lillard is a willing passer. Rivers isn't and will never be. Lillard made dramatic improvements from year to year. I thought Rivers was the exact player in college that he was in high school. Lillard is a team player. He was the second most efficient player in college basketball DESPITE being the only decent player on his entire roster; teams game planned to stop him and him alone every night. I just don't see Rivers ever being anywhere near as unselfish or efficient. I think Rivers will be shocked at the athleticism and length at his position. He'll try to do the same things at which he excelled in high school, spend a lot of time on the bench, get into it with his coach and teammates, get traded in a year or two to a desperate team, put up huge numbers for a cellar-dweller for a year or two, make some money, and eventually, teams will realize he can't be the alpha dog on a winning team.

That's why I don't want him. Great read by Ford.

Bill Ingram: Darnell Mayberry of The Oklahoman reports that the Oklahoma City Thunder may not be satisfied with the 28th pick in tomorrow’s NBA Draft. Apparently Thunder GM Sam Presti told Bradley Beal, who is widely regarded as a top three pick, that they have a great deal of interest in him and may make a move to acquire a pick high enough to draft him. Is James Harden on the move? The draft gets more interesting the closer it gets.

And I don't think Wallace will be on our radar simply cause I think he'll get a really big pay day even though he's old. Crawford....I can see us trading for him even though I would hate it. I can definitely see us going after Mayo and I wouldn't mind it either.

I think I would rather just wait til next year's draft to get a PG. Unless Lillard magically drops to us.

To get Beal the Thunder would undoubtedly have to move James Harden, the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year. League sources said the Thunder wouldn't be able to avoid serious tax issues if they had to pay lucrative contracts to all four of their marquee players in Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Serge Ibaka and Harden. The first two aren't going to be moved. But to trade Harden to a team like Charlotte would be a risk for the receiving team since there is no guarantee Harden would sign a long-term deal beyond the one year remaining on his current contract. Also, the Thunder would be disrupting a team that was three wins away from winning an NBA title. ESPN.com

We can use #2 and take up Cleveland's offer of #4 and #24.

I'd think hard about it - but that $30 million for TT in salary, a nice young player and a pick ... so I'd decline.

And we know Cho has what it takes to put a real good team together.

What I understand is that Jordan basically told Cho to build a team and has gave him a lot of power over changes. Unlike Paul Allen, Jordan didn't want a "Yes" man but someone who would speak his mind and has a little stubbornness. Which Jordan really got to know Cho when Cho was with Portland and traded for G. Wallace. Which is why Cho wasn't outta a GM job to long.

The guy needs to work on his English. Just like all Syracuse basketball players (Warrick, 'Melo) he speaks very illiterate English.

I am starting to warm up to the idea of drafting him though....even though I still prefer Rivers.

I think thats just how he talks. I mean like he has kind of a lisp almost. I dont think he has bad english or is uneducated I think he just as a funny sounding voice....

He's not necessarily saying "I don't know" over and over because he speaks poorly. He's saying it because he knows that he can't comment on any promises that were made.
