At this point I will only be upset if we draft Moultrie at 13, and even then I wouldn't be too upset. I have Moultrie gone by 15 anyways.

We better trade down then. I'd be pissed if we took either of them at 13.

I wouldn't be unhappy with PJ3, although what all the scouts say about him is scary. That said, is taking a high risk, high reward guy at #13 that much of a stretch?

Chris Broussard: Ignore talk of Austin Rivers having attitude problem. A top NBA coach said his interview with Rivers in Chicago was 1 of best he's ever had.

Chris Broussard: Austin Rivers & Coach K still speak twice a week. K is very fond of him. Don't mistake on-court swagger for a problem. via Twitter

Good interview with Rivers from today:

Come on Waiters. Buying a second pick for Marshal or Moultrie would be icing on a delicious cake. A chocolate cake. Possibly the claimjumper motherload cake with walnuts and possibly a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

I knew you'd find something to contradict the recent bad press for Rivers, particularly Chad Ford putting him on blast twice (once last night on First Take draft special & once today on Grantland piece). Took you half the day though!

I'm sure alot of you have played basketball like I have. The worst person to play with is the dude that takes 1v3 shots all day and never makes the extra pass or just dribbles the ball untill he jacks up a shot. I don't think anything changes in terms of that type of personality at the NBA level. No one wants to play those type of players (rivers). I dont care who says they like him. Is coach K going to say he doesnt like him? The sad thing is everytime I watched duke highlights there are always SO MANY people open around him BECAUSE of what he does with the ball but he wont pass it.

Andy Katz: Syracuse's Dion Waiters could be in play at No. 4 to Cleveland, according to those close to Waiters. That would shake up lottery a bit. via Twitter

There's talk of Detroit picking Moultrie in the top 10, so I don't think it's too big a reach to pick him at 13.

I don't really care for him, but I wouldn't say he's a "bad" pick. There aren't very many bad picks in this draft.

I think that was more-so if they made a trade and ended up with a lower pick. At #9 i dont see them passing on Henson, who they reported love.**

One of Waiters, Ross and Lamb have to be available at 13, and we better take one of them. If they aren't, they NEED to trade down for two picks, or something. We don't really need to reach for Marshall or Moultrie...we could probably get them by trading down.

Hopefully if none of the three guys I first mentioned here are gone, we could trade down with Boston and get two guys. We need more young talent if we can't address that swing position or nab Waiters at 13.

This is the most mystifying thing EVER. He hasn't worked out for ANYONE. How on earth has he gone from end of the lottery to #4?

And before he got that promise, right after the Ford article came out (about one gm saying he was the 2nd star of the draft), I don't think he was higher than about 17 or so on any mock draft. Then he jumped to 8 or so....at first I thought it was Portland promising him at 6....because I didn't think it made sense for him to shut down workouts for the 13 pick....

Lately I've been starting to think more that maybe it was Phx, but with all these rumors, maybe it was someone else entirely...would make more sense that he shut everything down.

Seriously. 4 NOW!!!!! WTF. I am losing it... Maybe they should have just let him work out and teams would realize he is not Wade.

Calm down...

Davis, Robinson, MKG, Beal & Barnes will all surely go before Waiters. Can't tell what will happen the next 7 picks though. It's frustrating obviously but if Portland takes Lillard @ 6, they might get a big with their 11th. So on and so on. If the Raptors go with Rivers, then maybe Hornets and Warriors take another direction because they already have combo guards. Then the Rockets become an X factor. It's a big reach to say Waiters fall to 13 though so don't get your hopes up.

He did preform in a workout in Las Vegas. Toronto's FO was definitely there, and im sure ours were there as well. There were a reported 5 teams that had a scout there. One un-named GM that was there has said that they had an eye out for him, and watched him in Syracuse enough to make a good enough decision that they would like to have him.

Off topic but this thread is active as hell: I can't see signatures and avatars...went to my profile options and there is no option to add an avatar. What's up?
