I think we also *gave away* a second for the privilege of half a season of Brooks

No, it's worse...it was a first.

BS! Are you serious?

Yes, a later first we had acquired from some one else....I think maybe Orlando's first round pick last year or something.

While I'm not a sarver fan, he hasn't done anything nearly as horrible as the Maloof brothers have over the past couple years

Let me rephrase, Sarver has never taken our team hostage and crippled our ability to have a team in Phoenix while simultaneously attempted to move them to Anaheim.

So Bottomline : suns did not improve through the draft. Only thing left to improve through isna weak free agent pool.

Suns are gonna be on YouTube on one of the fail videos.

Suns gonna be punching a ticket out of phx within a few years. See Sacramento.

If you do remember, the Kings probably should have won the WCF in 2002, and they were pretty much nothing a few years after that.

Simion rice once called the cardinals the armpit of the NFL. That title now belongs to the suns. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Why did you wait until tonight to say this? There have been so many mistakes made in the last few years and tonight has nothing to do with it.

I hope we draft few great players in next years draft then build through draft, acquire some veterans during the season and try to compete by 2015-2016.

Actually we gave two second rounders. One of which was GS's 30 something pick the following year, which yielded DBlair for the Spurs. Plus two $500ks, one to the Spurs, and one to Goran's Euro team. On top of that, we paid him more than our fifteenth pick, Lopez. Then we traded him along with another first to get Brooks. So in the end, Brooks cost us two second rounders, one first, and one million dollars.

Agreed.....I started complaining years ago because I saw what was coming.....the new FO and tonight's pick ARE NOT the reason we have spiraled down. You know the FO would love to buy a pick if they could...but Sarver has the cash....it's not like Sarver is saying...."Hey, if you guys want to buy a pick, let me know" and Babby/Blanks are saying "nah...we don't want another pick."

Silver lining....at least we can tell undrafted free agents...."hey, come to our team....we have BY FAR the least amount of talent in the league, so you will have a MUCH better chance making our team than any other!"

We were the Kings after $arver gutted the FO.

Seriously. Hat to tell you but our banker owner is not flush. there is a reason we didn't seek out the Kings pick and lay a couple Million for Miller/Barton/Lamb/English. All player who could improve their roster. I mean, look at the f***ing roster! We are the worst team in the league. Even if we sign Nash.

More importantly, while the rest of the successful teams in the league are improving with athleticism, we draft two of the least athletic guys we can find in the past two drafts and walk around like we have accomplished something.

sign Machado if he doesn't get drafted, seems a no brainer especially if we're losing Nash AND Brooks which also seems likely

go all youth, tank, sign only young players to 1 or 2yr deals and hope we strike gold. This team is going to suck but at least we have our pick next year and we don't have any expectations. I'll finally be able to watch games and not worry about playoff seeding implications. So this is what it feels like being a Cats fan

In seven years, Sarver took the most promising team/franchise in the league and f***ing killed it.I cannot believe this roster looks the way it does.

SELL THE F***ING TEAM NOW! GO LIVE IN SAN DIEGO! YOU COMPLETE BUM OF A HUMAN BEING!

Well, once again we have wasted hours and days of our lives hoping, building fairy tale castles in the air out of smoke and cow manure .... and then the big night comes and

...... ppppppppphhhhhhhhhhhhttttttttttttt

Nothing wrong with Marshall, given who was left. but sweet Jayzuz ... to do nothing at all else, again?

This team has cost me too much and why I keep coming back for more of this treatment - I'm even stupider than they are.

Return to Phoenix Suns
