not too exciting today, as it was mostly driving and not site seeing.

driving through downtown la, think it was 5:15 am

going down towards camarillo on the 101, super foggy

first signs that we're on the right track

had this nice view of the beach for awhile

followed by these views

finally got to solvang where we ate breakfast (bfast and bfast joint not pictured)

back on the road, almost there!

made a stop shortly after hearst castle to watch these bad asses

back on the 1, this was the view for a long time

some neat looking construction along the way

there's the beach again! we lost it for awhile with all the trees and fog

many many hrs later, approaching south san francisco

first thing we did, grub on pizza and wings

then went to the golden gate bridge were our arch nemesis "fog" foiled us once again

after checking in to our hotel we walked to chinatown for some custom made fortune cookies in this alley (the yellow sign points to cookie headquarters)

then we walked around union square, no pics. tomorrow giants vs reds at att park

the lady sitting at the pressing machine gave us a couple of the cookie shells fresh of the press after we bought some, and jesus it was scorching hot. couldn't hold it in my hand. i looked at the lady's hands with new admiration.

I am guessing you're referring to cigs?

@ Doc those beach pictures are awesome. I can't imagine just seeing sea lions laying some where (or whatever they were). That stuff doesn't happen on the east coast.
