Take it or leave it Nets.

makes absolutely no sense. There is no need to send duhon if we are already rebuilding OR Hedo for that matter. Sending guaranteed 8 mil for 2013 AND getting what is essentially going to be a bunch of almost second round pics is a win for you?

You would think some one would call him out on his 30 million dollar bluff. As I said in the other thread though, the guy is an NBA player, meaning he is more than likely stupid so of course he will throw that 30 million into a river to pump up his pride.

yea good point, kinda fishy that two of the players in the deal are fa's and have to agree to sign here and the $$$ amount

So what is your grand idea if that is the only option Rob ends up with? Oh wait. You probably don't have one.

"@MagicalNBA: I heard this rumor was possibly put out to Broussard by Dwights agent. I refuse to believe it is true. It is the stupidest trade ever."

"@TonyMejiaNBA: No, I don't believe deal w/ Brook Lopez as centerpiece and 3 future first-rounders in 20s gets it done for Dwight. Not unless KGB involved."

(What's KGB ?)

"@BrodyLogan: broussard on ESPN radio: "the deal is on the table and orlando is fielding offers. No where near happening""

It really seems like this one was BS from the start.

Yeah, because this morning, ESPN had " Dwight going to Nets in Trade." Only to change it to "Dwight COULD go to Nets in trade."

no. you have one more answer to give first. You keep calling NBA players stupid. What is your credentials? Seriously, what is the biggest thing you accomplished in life?

The mere fact that you are not in the NBA is enough of an evidence of your intelligence? No, that is only one other thing you are not good at.

Of course it was BS from the start... You think we would seriously deal him there now that he can't go there in the offseason? You are better off waiting until the deadline so their record isn't as good as it would be with Dwight, then trade him there so you get a higher pick... The deal will still be there because its not like they can go out and sign him outright...

Actually we could do this same exact trade on draft night next year... F u Brooklyn, you can kiss my ass

Hopefully the Lakers or Houston bite. I have a feelings the Nets offered a trade, Rob looked at it and is now fielding offers from other teams. He will then take the best offer.

I'm just hoping this is done by the end of the week so we can be rid of the Howard drama and welcome our new team.

People think that the trade is the only one that Rob has. Im not so sure because the Nets are DESPERATE now because if they dont get Howard now, they have no shot at him with free agency. Other teams no this, and this makes it A LOT easier to convince him to commit long term to a team.

As long as Henny stays patient were good. The moment d will signs that contract new jersey is officially out of the race and other teams will realize that. Dwight can only get to jersey now if we let him.

LMAO! I can give you plenty of examples of how NBA players took their millions and flushed them down the drain, from bad investments to getting 800 women knocked up and having to pay child support that they don't pay any way. If that isn't stupid, then I don't know what is.

As far as what I do for a living, I've been a proud member of the military for 14 years, working with SF and SOC units all over the world so I've done a little more with my life than these prima donna a$$ hats.

so you are in the army, which is not viewed to be particularly smart, per se. you are not a chemist with extensive college education.

I have immense respect for what you do, I hope you will have at least some respect toward people whose dream (and probably only option) is to play ball.

my grand plan is to wait, there will be better offers. Nets tied their hands by trading for Joe Johnson. Dwight's biggest leverage was that he was able to walk to Brooklyn should we not trade him. Now, it may be gone.
