He wouldn't be at Dolan's party if he wasn't entertaining the idea to come back.

Felton should know what's up. Nuggets were the ones that pushed for Billups and Felton to be included in the deal.

Masai Ujiri when questioned after the deal actually said that it was the Knicks who asked for Billups to be included.

Ahh, my bad. Conflicting sources...

I'm at Dolans fourth of July party. Felton was there, he said he's on the Knicks. Take it FWIW #Knicks

Center Island, NY, Dolan's 4th of July party. Felton is here. He's a Knick

Zachary Horst ‏@zd183
@jhnywang to be honest, he didn't look like he was in the best of shape. He was in a great mood though

Zachary Horst ‏@zd183
A lot of people asking - Felton was really upbeat and happy. Needs more conditioning, but he's excited.

Zachary Horst ‏@zd183
@Ron_The_Don415 @azaznyk my phone was in the car for the short time he was there. Will have to take my word.

Zachary Horst ‏@zd183
Took a picture of someone else with Felton. They will email me picture within next couple of days, I will RT

Zachary Horst ‏@zd183
@AndrewLiv didn't actually see him. Cant confirm if he was there

Zachary Horst ‏@zd183
@AzazNYK he said he is "gonna" be a Knicks and that is why he was there

Zachary Horst ‏@zd183
@NYKSection310 @azaznyk only thing I can provide is a picture of my friend with Felton in a day or two. Took it on digital camera

That would be awesome if Jimmy Dolas gets Felton to sign because of free food and the prospect of more free food. It probably also means Felton is fat.

I agree but only for a min deal, dude has to get back into shape first as well.

The lockout messed up alot of players, I kinda attribute his woes to that and being traded to a place he had no want to be in.

Sessions isn't exactly the type of backup veteran PG we need. The point of getting a veteran PG is either because he can start and make a big impact (i.e. Nash) or he can theoretically "mentor" Lin (i.e. Kidd). Sessions doesn't really fall under either category. If he's willing to take the minimum then sure, but otherwise, not really a fit.

I want to start on an NBA team too, doesn't mean it's going to happen. Unless Sessions plans on signing with the Bobcats, Blazers, or Kings he won't be starting.

Sessions declined a 5m player option to become a FA, he's not taking the minimum or mini-MLE.

He might not get the money he was hoping to get (MLE+). But someone is going to give him more than the vet minimum which is the only amount that would make sense for the Knicks since he's really still not the type of PG the Knicks need.

Kidd is 40 years old and Felton is fat.

None of these guys are making a big impact on the team.

First of all, Amare needs to go, plain and simple. Nothing is going to get done with him on the roster.

Then, we need someone who can start over Lin because I am still unsure about him being able to sustain being good for an entire season and especially in the playoffs.

As i said many times... Felton is a flat out warrior. Would love to have him back. But since we backstabbed him like a **** Rat, i dont think he has any interest in playing for us...

Dude was putting out blood, sweat, tears for us. And i dont care about a system.. hes not a bad basketball Player, just stop that shi
We need some warriors out there, no 40 year old backups.. i love his attitude and mindset. He was a legit leader for us..
But he has to be all in, if hes not U see what happensed in Denver and Portland. But i think he didnt produced there because s he was frustrated, he loved new york.. and i want players in nyc, who want to be a knick nöo matter what... Felton was such a guy for us.. i dont know if he still wants... I loved rayray

Well, the interest from Felton's side is there..

Tony Dutt, agent for Raymond Felton, told The Post yesterday the ex-Knicks point guard would love to be back playing alongside Amar’e Stoudemire.

That scenario became closer to reality now that the Knicks were spurned by Steve Nash. Knicks brass reluctantly traded Felton — who played with the Trail Blazers last season — to the Nuggets in the Carmelo Anthony blockbuster.

“They’ve shown great interest, but there’s stuff they’ve had to get through,’’ Dutt told the Post.
“He loved playing in New York. Our choice was to never have left New York. There were no hard feelings. Management handled it the best they could. I don’t think they ever misled us and I never felt they wanted him in that trade.’’

The Knicks have the $3.09 million taxpayer mid-level exception to offer Felton, though Dutt said he hoped a sign-and-trade can be done with Portland to get an increased salary.

“I consider them definitely on his high list,’’ Dutt said. “He would love to go back. He loved New York and was playing at an all-star level.’’

Wasn't this the same guy who threw such a monumental hissy fit in Portland that they had to fire the coach and blow up the team?
