Felton was great the first half of that season here. Assuming he's aware that he would be backing up Lin, I'm fine with this.

Felton peaked with the Knicks and has been in a freefall since. He wasn't anything special when he was here. I don't want him back.

You guys are complaining like we have options. I'd gladly take Felton back, if the price is right.

He bitched when he was traded to Denver also.

Be real. Read that article again. He isn't even taking that MLE and want more than that via a sign and trade. He's sure as hell not taking the minimum.

Who said he'd be backing up Lin? I'm almost positive he'll come here to be the starter and if he isn't by opening night then he will be at some point during the season. Woodson is not sold on Lin.

And he's sold on Fatman? There's literally nothing Felton does better than Lin at this point. Except maybe bitching for more minutes.

Woodson wanted to start Baron over Lin when Baron got healthy and Baron hadn't proved anything up to that point. Woodson didn't play Jeff Teague in Atlanta just because he was young. Woodson is an idiot is what I'm getting at.

LMAO. Hmm woodson will start Lin he has no choice. hell no do they sign a back loaded deal for lin and not start him. also woodson was fired because he didn't play jeff teague (one of the reasons) so lin will start otherwise they may fire him again. woodson is a different coach now he has learned from his mistakes i am not to worried. unless lin decides to quit basketball the starting position is his to lose and even then lin won't lose it. still laughing at fatman comment....

i would take back the raymond felton of the 2010 knicks. he was not a perfect player, but he was productive. he also shot the ball a lot better than he did at any other point in his career, including from the free throw line.

my biggest problem with him is decision making. that is a weakness for carmelo and to a lesser extent, amar'e. you add felton to the mix and it starts to characterize the team.

He said that, yet Lin never lost his starting job. So, it's a moot point.

And was back less than a week later. And didn't get to start until Lin went down.

Isola is trash. Ignore him. Half of what he said about Lin and Melo was bold face lies. Woodson said that but Lin still started. Woodson played him in the 4th quarter and put the ball in his hands to win games. Woodson also coached him and yelled at him when he screwed up just like he did the same with melo stat and tyson. he also sat him in 4th quarters when we were blowing out other teams. woodson treated him fine.

You seriously think that the Knicks are going to bring back Lin for 8-10m a year to come off the bench for Raymond Felton? Even Woodson wants it, Dolan won't allow it to happen. It's the same situation as Amare. Even he played like trash or even caused us losing games. He would still start and play until he retires or gets traded due to his 20m+ contract. This is how nba works.

If he wants our tax payer mle, then i give it to him all day. Lin+ Felton is a good pg rotation. I Don't get the hate.
