David Wiess‏@WiessD

To be clear this is not a done deal yet, but source tells me @DwightHoward could become a Laker sometime over the weekend.

Source: After speaking w/ Kobe & Nash and liking what he heard, @DwightHoward has told the @Lakers he'll sign contract extension with them.

If you think about it, this sort of thing makes perfect sense in Dwight Howard Land.

thats a negative Ghost Rider.

He was healthy his rookie year, his second year and then last year. he barely played his rookie year, so i would hope he could stay healthy for 7 mins a night. 20 mins his second year and was healthy. As he got better and more minutes he couldnt stay healthy

if this is true, we wont be getting any picks and will still be stuck with j-rich, duhon and hedo.

and Orlando better start making more handicapped parking spaces, since we know where he likes to park

My god, I want this Dwightmare to be over! Hopefully this Dwight-Bynum deal gets done so this can be all put to rest.

I've been an advocate of this since day 1, can't believe finally on verge of happening.

I love how guys think this is more about their own feelings than what's best for the Magic.

Woj is the new Bucher. Shams is the new Woj. Espn is the new TMZ. The NBA is the new WWE.

We still have Grant Hill's parking spot. Nobody filled it since he left.

Ebanks is a young defensive SF with length and a solid mid-range game. Hes still developing but hes got potential. Reminds me of Ariza when he was with us. If he's cheap (<$2.5) why not take a flyer on him? And, it was rumored that we (and OKC) are interested in him.

Ebanks Receiving Interest From Five Teams: Restricted free agent Devin Ebanks has drawn interest from a number of teams including the Orlando Magic, Oklahoma City Thunder, Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers, according to sources close to the situation.

The Los Angeles Lakers extended a qualifying offer to Ebanks last week, which means they can match any offer the small forward receives. The Lakers have been in contact with their 2010 second-round pick, and are hoping to re-sign him. Once Ebanks signs an offer sheet on July 10, the Lakers will have three days to match.

I'll trust taking a chance on any player if Hennigan & Presti are interested.

don't forget, we did not want Bynum before without Lakers absorbing some bad contracts. So the exact terms matter...a lot.

Bynum and Gasol for Howard and Turkoglu. Makes the most sense.

If the Lakers can't give draft picks, they should give us Gasol who expires or we could use to trade for something.
