I can't blame Allen too much myself. He went where he felt most wanted. Even half the posters in this thread are saying that they didn't really care if he retired or left for another team, just not the Miami Heat. Gee, I can't imagine why he would leave for greener pastures.![]()
Having said that, had Ray Allen stayed with the Celtics, he likely would have been the fourth guard in the line-up behind Rondo, Bradley, and Terry, coming off the bench for 15-20 mpg at most. For that role, a healthy Petrius, on the whole, can probably perform just as well.
