If it's any consolation, I'm moving to Orlando within the next 12 months.

Dirk has a no trade clause so that deal would be dead before it started. Why would we want Dirk any way? He is an aging star and we are obviously in rebuild mode with Howard gone.

During my interview on @WFAN660 I said I thought the deal would be done by Tuesday. Looks like, as of now, I was right.

Y'know, when you think about it........it was destined to end this way.

I swear if Hennigan trade Dwight Howard for Brook Lopez, he better have a stellar run for the rest of his tenure here, because that is getting off to a terrible start.

Seems like Rob wants 3 things. Draft picks. Young players. Cap space. If he doesn't get all 3, he may just hang on to Howard and dare him to walk.

lol at Bynum not wanting to extend. i can't say i blame him. he's got a good thing going on in LA. he'll get more touches now as a result of Nash, and in a couple years he'll inherit the team and be the building block - if he stays healthy.

he just has to wait until Howard is dealt before he signs an extension.

and in the meantime, we get Brook Lopez.

LOL.

You'll probably just leave when your contract is up.

this all seems like smoke screen. get a bunch of rumors out that that we're close to a trade and try to force Lakers hand.

Even having Bynum not interested in staying in Orlando fits the smoke screen. I think we deal with LA by monday night/tuesday

brook lopez is a GREAT offensive player

better than dwight on offense infact

but imo a franchise player (especially a big man) has to be a two-way player

He's not a franchise player, but he's a find piece of the puzzle. The guy gets a horrible rap here but he's probably a top five center when healthy.

No he is not.

Putting up 18 points a game on Sh**ty teams is very different from the guys putting up 18 points a game on winning teams. And if you let the opposing center score 25 a game - how much are you really helping.

I'd like to think you're right. But I think LA has no reason to be concerned. They're a Finals contender now with Bynum. If the Magic come knocking, they win. If the Magic don't, they still win. They're fine where they're at.

Hennys hands are tighed here. This is pry the best offer we are getting...Bynum is not willing to extend with us yet and NETS are willing to take back our bad deals. I don't blame this on Rob..he was dealt a bad hand with this

Is Bynum not wanting an extension from us a quote from him or "sources" because if I remember correctly he was quoted just this year about how he wouldn't mind playing in Orlando and being the man.
