Many speculating that Cavs are team that would take Kris Humphries as part of DH12 deal 2 Nets. But told "nothing substantive" with Cavs now

Damn... new dynasty in Brooklyn. Gonna make for some epic ECF showdowns between the Heat/Nets.

Then 4 more contracts on the veterans minimum. Possibilities include Al Thronton and resigning Gerald Green.

Apparently they want more picks, so I believe the third team will trade that for Humphries?

If the Cavs are the problem the Nets can find another team. I don't think it will be very difficult to move Humphries

He is a double double guy on a reasonable contract and is only 26.

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA
Cleveland's interest with Humphries is exclusively to use him as a means to stockpile further draft picks and assets, league source says.

What is Cleveland going to get?

One of the Nets three draft picks?

But how is that gonna happen? If I understand right, the only way a third team (say Cleveland) takes on Humphries is if they get draft picks along with him. Orlando isn't getting anything else out of it outside of what was originally on the table minus them getting Humphries.

Jarrod N Rudolph ‏@JRudolphSports

Just spoke with a source that tells me that Billy King is "very close" to getting Dwight Howard. And deal could be completed "very soon."

So the only reason they need a third team is to move Humphries? I thought Orlando wanted more picks than what the Nets were offering and therefore were looking for another team to deal with. With all the rumors and speculation, it's difficult to keep track of what's going on. :P

I'm guessing Cleveland gets Humphries and 1 pick
Nets get that TPE to take on J.Rich, Q.Rich, Duhon type contracts.
Orlando gets Lopez, Brooks, Filler, TE, 2 #1, $3m Cash, rights to some foreign players the Nets have.

Nothing is done and I still won't believe until it happens.
LA may still pull this out. Don't underestimate them, nor underestimate Orlando's stubbornness to not deal with the Nets/give Dwight his wish.
