Bynum is about to expire and leave...which is why the Lakers are not getting any interest from Orlando. They don't have what Orlando actually WANTS. Then again...does Orlando know what they want?

Now this is a rational post. I was just talking talent wise, its not even close between Lopez and Drew. But yeah, if I was Orlando, I wouldn't take the Lakers offer, too many question marks.

Lopez is not a great defender but he does not play "No D." He averages over a block and a half a game. He is an ok defender.

In fact when he plays Bynum, Bynum only averages 7 points per game. So obviously he is doing something right.

We all know Lopez's rebounding is not the same caliber as Bynum. And that what makes Bynum better. But the point is besides rebounding Bynum is not better.

I have always wondered how old the people who use the word "butthurt" are ?

Seriously you guys sound like idiotic children. Shaheen keeps bringing the lulz, there is no way you are seriously comparing Bynum to Lopez please stop.

What Orlando wants are ALL of these:

all-star type of player(s), multiple good 1st round picks, and taking back Hedo and JRich contracts

and every single ice cream flavor at Baskins Robins.

Bynum is no Shaq calm down with that. Bynum is a better player but they are definitely COMPARABLE.

You act like Bynum is the best center ever when he's made a career playing with Kobe and Gasol. Lets see him in Lopez's position as a first option and see what he does then.

Peter Vecsey‏@PeterVecsey1

Contrary to some reports, Nets do not have deal in place for DH. Much maneuvering on tap, I'm informed. First 10 scenarios unacceptable.

Nets GM Billy King is flying to Vegas Monday morning to watch Deron Williams w/ Team USA. No Dwight Howard deal imminent, still work to do.

first sensible thing you have said today and I Agree with that. I question bynums ability as a first option , not saying he can't do it or won't thrive at it , but I do have some qualms about the idea. He just doesn't seemed focused night in and night out

It just makes the most sense. If Orlando lands Bynum, unless they plan to trade him they just have a worse version of the team they had before, sans Anderson - with no assets to trade to build around Bynum. None. I don't get why they would want that despite Bynum's immense talent.

With Houston, if you trade Dwight and Turk for Martin, and a grab bag made up a few of Lamb, Torontos Pick, Parsons, MontejoijhARKH, Jones, White, First Rounders... Not only do you have a ton of assets, but you are in a perfect spot to both tank and get better fast.
