The rumored Houston, Lakers, Orlando proposal is very real. But that deal will be priority ONLY after talks with Brooklyn are dead.

Jarrod's close to Dwight's people. He's reporting what Dwight's people are saying.

They want Dwight to go to Brooklyn, of course they're not gonna admit they're not gonna get their wish.

Sounds legit. Hope it doesn't happen cause for LA that would be like assembling one of the best rosters ever.

Marc Stein just said on ESPN that the Rockets would take Bynum on in a heartbeat and do not fear him leaving.

ESPNSteinLine Marc Stein
In short: Lakes need 3rd team to do Dwight deal. Nets do NOT but direct ORL deal TRICKY. Rockets can do it direct or facilitate & get Bynum

I think Houston takes back the Asik offer sheet if they get this deal done. They won't tie up their cap

Chad Ford: If Magic want best player? Lakers best partner. Best package of players? Hawks. Want to blow it up? Rockets. None of the above? Nets

Looking at the main part of the deal, before tweaks, this is a good trade for all teams.

I think the Rockets would be more confident with Bynum over Howard, because of signing long term wise.

Marc Steins reports that Houston wants Bynum because they feel that Bynum would absolutely extend with them.

I think so too also because Morey feels he has to get that big name after aquiring all those picks and not doing much with it. You could tell when he started making moves he wanted someone like Howard/Bynum to be the end result.

You can't take back an offer like that. They had an agreement. No way it doesn't go through.

Portland just rescinded their offer sheet to Hibbert, it was said on NBA TV as they decided they don't want to tie their cap up for two days waiting for Indy to match. You can do it, you look a bit scummy, but you can do it

I think technically they can since he didn't sign the offer. Somewhat different but remember Carlos Boozer?
