I want Joel traded for a center!

Haslem-Lewis
LeBron-Battier
Wade-Allen-Miller
Chalmers-Cole

This team has way to many good G/F's. We need to add some SIZE! Their has to be an overpaid decent center that we could move Joel for!

like 1 or 2 hrs ago I read its not even close and wont move further along until brooklyn-magic trade talks are dead...unless theres been good progress since 2hrs ago

Bigs that we might be able to get with Miller's disabled player exception for 2.9Mil $ per 1 year :

1.Ronny Turiaf
2.Kwame Brown
3.Kenyon Martin
4.Brendan Haywood (if gets amnestied)
5.Darko (if gets amnestied)
6.Joel Przybilla
7.Jordan Hill (not likely)

Dalembert, Okafor and Ian Mahinmi might also be available but we'll need to give up assets and trade for them.

If we could find a way to acquire Darko or Mahinmi that would be **** great. I'd actually be willing to part with Cole for one of the two, in addition to replacing him with JLIII. Haywood would also be perfect if we could land him for the vet minimum if amnestied.

Aside from that, if we have to settle for a vet minimum guy, I'd go for Przybilla or Turiaf.

If he's overpaid we would have to add Miller. Miller plus Joel is about 3 yrs/30 million. Why would a team rather have those two instead of just keeping their Center who would be clearly better than Joel in your fantasy scenario which is why you would want him for Joel?

And no Cole + Philly pick isn't much of an incentive when you're giving up a good Center for 3yrs/30 million worth of contracts from marginal players.

Can we please make a sticky with realistic trade values?

He's still in the league and there are plenty of guys who never even made a roster.
