Let the Chandler hate start?? Right? Or is Melo the only bad guy?

Nah chandler is also a bad guy. It's very rare for the 2 best players on a team to have such serious difference with a 2nd-year player that they're willing to have the team get worse just to have that player off the team.

People are shrugging this off, but if this really boils down to bad blood that is beyond pathetic and raises serious doubts about whether our core has the mental-makeup foc us to contend.

Yup what does Chandler know about winning a title

When it came down to Melo's own money during the Melodrama he had no comment.. but when it comes to another player getting paid after he's already been paid he opens his mouth in any sort of way other than to say it's not his business is just flat out ignorant.

Exactly. Not that it matters, because I won't follow the team, but I become pretty anti-Melo after Lin leaves. Even if Dolan changes his mind, Melo is a stupid guy and he has an apology to issue.

This has the potential of really blowing up in our faces big-time. If Lin puts up numbers in Houston and Felton isn't the floor leader that guides us on a title run, we will never hear the end of this. Nobody is going to give a sh*t about LeBron and the Heat after this.

I'd be less upset if I thought Lin was going to go to Houston and lead them to a ring -- but anyone who thinks that is talking crazy.

I think we'd be better with him, and our future would be a little more of a mystery with potential... But his desire for $ caused him his spot here. Can't blame him for wanting $, though you'd think if he really wanted to be here he'd have found his way to work it out w NY.

Lets not pretend he doesn't see a lot of that off the court $ too, not just Dolan who profits from that.

GratefulDead is right. MSG stock has been trending upwards ever since it started sharing publicly. I bought it at 19.60 in the summer of 2010 and sold it in the upper 20's way before Linsanity happened.

But it didn't go from 29.32 to 33.18 in a month.

Yes he can make up to $5M on a S&T. Knicks have his Early Bird rights.

I don't understand all this fu***ng commotion. Giving Lin 8 mill per year is not ridiculous at all. We have given way better contracts to worse players. I still think we will match. The media is desperate for a story and is spinning stuff out of control

It's one thing if you got something in return for him, that would appease the fans but to let him just walk for nothing is unfathomable.

What does Melo's comment have to do with Lin's contract or the Knick's matching it.

The contract is ridiculous. For a player that hasn't proved anything in the league. Stated he was 85% in the playoffs but didn't play (yes that should a lot of heart right KnicksGod). Melo's comments have nothing to do with the Rockets offer, Lin's play or our front office matching but you guys just look for someone to hate so Melo it is.

Let me ask you this do you think paying Lin 15 dollars a year for his on the court basketball play is a smart basketball decision?? I am not talking about off the court stuff I am talking on the court only?
