As for #Dwightmare, #Magic still seeking info as they wait for #Rockets to see where they stand when Lin/Asik settled. Zero close w/#Lakers.

That's usually the way it works...give up 2 good players for 1 great player...sorry bro we are not the Memphis Grizzlies and just give you s*** for free.
yeah give a 20/14 player on a team in which he's the only rebounder and scorer for a 19/12 guy and 17/10 guy fighting for their rebounds and points with Kobe. Sorry dude, the team that has the less leverage is the one that is desperate to trade one of its players not a team like the Lakers who are looking to win a championship in the next two years. So keep dreaming all you want but you'll be seriously disappointed and I repeat Jim Buss siad only an Idiot yes he used those words would trade both his bigs for Dwight, and now that Dwight is injured and still can't run, good luck on that.
that magician dude is probably the most delusional poster ive ever seen on Realgm
Why don't you two take your love affair back to the Lakers forum.

Just another reason you wait for all the chips to fall. Once all the chips fall in to place, Howard becomes the most attractive option for the Lakers and the Rockets. Both of those teams have to be convinced they need Howard desperately. The Rockets need him for the rebuild and the Lakers need him to get Kobe that 6th ring.

If I am Rob right now I realize I am about to be sitting in the middle of a bidding war and I deal with each team individually and do not have a 3 way trade on the table. This way it keeps both teams honest and neither team knows what the other team may be willing to offer for Howard.

This is why a 3 team trade, especially with Houston is NOT in our best interest, until we get the final offer from both teams for Howard in a two way trade.

If Dwight Howard would've landed on the Nets, Grant Hill was going to sign with Brooklyn. Now, it sounds like he'll sign with the Clippers.

How do they contradict each other? Sounds exactly like what the Magic should be doing. I wouldn't be surprised if the Magic are meeting with the Rockets too. Rob is going to explore all of his options.

If we trade Dwight to the Lakers, We are going to get screw once again... It's going to be
"Lakers vs. Heat"
All the wait... We must avoid dealing with the Lakers and choose Houston as our top partner.

If we get to deal with the Lakers, We must receive Bynum/Gasol, otherwise we would get Bynum/MWP - that make me sick.

Lakers could be landing forward Antawn Jamison & center Jermaine O'Neal to minimum deals, sources tell Y! Jordan Hill interest remains, too.

Dumb argument, the Lakers would be complete morons to offer Bynum + Gasol, and looking at Mitch Kupchak's history he's not an idiot so it's pointless to even debate that.

Truthfully I wouldn't even offer Bynum for Dwight at this point if I was them. Dwight's likely going to miss the first 2-3 months of the season..and that's enough to lose the #1 seed and they would need all the time they could get to gel him together with the team before they could ever think of beating the elite teams - missing that much time would put a huge hamper on that.

I think there must be something going on with Bynum and the Lakers, he must've told him he's not going to resign with them or something. It doesn't make sense otherwise. The guy is more healthy right now (they only care about winning right now) and younger than Dwight and he has a ton more potential. Dwight worked with Hakeem and it didn't do anything, and by now he's been in the league long enough that it's clear he just doesn't have the offensive aptitude. Bynum has a nearly finished post game as McHale noted, all that's left for him is to learn how to pass out of the post/double teams. Once he learns that he's going to be a beast, and once he has his own team/is the first option I expect his numbers will skyrocket. I just don't see any way where Bynum doesn't pass Dwight up in the next couple years

I don't understand the Lakers actions, but Henny is probably doing it just to scare Houston since he still has no interest in Bynum and it doesn't make sense to accept the meeting otherwise. I wonder if Morey will finally take the bait with this, it seems like he's been playing hardball up to this

Comparing Bynum to Howard is asinine. Howard is vastly better.

Stephen A. backing off his previous statement that Knicks won't match for Lin.

I think Dolan comes in and orders the match.

In regard to Grant Hill signing with Brooklyn if they would have got Dwight: I'm so sick of this. Make you're own decision. Stop trying to jump on the ship once they get three all stars.

Why in the world would they sign Kidd and trade for Felton if they plan to match on Lin? They will have a ton of cap space locked up in 3 decent point guards.

Which is why it sounds like a move their owner would make. It would make little sense to do so. It's probably all money related and Kidd will likely end up not playing much.

You do not understand the NBA game AT ALL by the way you just represented your thoughts.

#1 Nash is a passer and does so by driving the lane and passing to the open man. If you have Kobe who also drives to the hole, Howard whoe lives 2 feet from the hole and Gasol who won't drift pass 8 feet from the hole, what do you think the defense will do to that team in the playoffs.

BE REAL.

#2 Kupcake has attempted to trade Gasol after 2 horrible playoff series where he was exposed for his softness and his inability to play next to Bynum. playing next to Dwight would be no different, except worse. If you trade for Howard, you have to trade for shooters to surround Howard & Nash so that when the ball goes in to the paint there is more than one player standing behind the arc to make defenses pay for collapsing in to the paint. PERIOD.

#3 No way the Magic trade with the Lakers if they cant get both especially since Bynum said he is not interested at this time in an extension with the Magic AND the Lakers have NO DRAFT PICKS TO TRADE. Absent trading both Gasol & Bynum, the Rockets have the best deal by a landslide.
