So let's just have a group of mods all with the same positions and beliefs? There's certain mods that let certain trolling go (and even engage in it themselves, they know who they are) if it's a position they agree with. But if it's a position they oppose, they reprimand the poster.

Honestly, I like Lin. BUT HE IS GOING TO GET EATEN ALIVE in the WEST.

Some of us have seen Lin in the West before. He'll be fine if he can keep his shooting stroke. That was the only thing limiting him with the Warriors. Once he got some confidence in his jumper, it opened up is entire game.

I'm looking forward to the real story coming out about this whole mess.

It will come out. My prediction:

1. Super pissed off that they told Lin they would match his offer and he turned around and used that to get more money. Which is really dumb on their part - why didn't they wait until they had officially received the offer to match? This is why Dolan should not be in charge.

2. CAA saw this as their opportunity to expunge Lin. He was taking too much attention away from their client. They probably got a hold of Dolan and fed him a bunch of BS about how Lin is not worth 50 million.

3. Isiah told Dolan that Lin was overrated and not worth the money.

what were they thinking?

knicks should have signed Lin straight off the bat. that they didn't made him feel insecure and unwanted and to go elsewhere. promises don't mean nothing. its only natural to feel loyalty to the FIRST team that gives you your first big contract, especially if you're a rookie. hence as soon as Lin signed with Houston he no longer felt any loyalty to the knicks. because lets face it there's no guarantee that the knicks would even sign the FIRST offer sheet despite the promises. if you're going to sign the ofer sheet, then sign it. dont just say you will. wtf were they waiting for? you don't do business that way, based on promises and saying stupid things like you're going to match up to a billion dollars. wtf?
