It'd be hilarious if Amare when he came back from Europe had no idea Jeremy was a Houston Rocket.

It really would be funny considering he's sitting next to Doaln and woodson today at the summer league game.

I guess I found the poster who wouldn't trade Lin for Chris Paul.

If it was CP3 or even Nash, I would give up Lin for. We're doing it for Rotund Raymond.

I seriously think Knicks FO is not even aware of this. They are that dumb. I would not put it pass them.

It has to be in the contract. Plus why would they release him for nothing?

It's part of CBA no? I'm saying they could do stretch before third year pill, and then they could keep him or trade him whatever...

Yeah, but the Stretch provision has to be in the contract. Not every contract has it in there.

Dolan's just gonna plain make stuff up and feed it to his cronies in the media. We all knew this was coming. This is how this organization works. That's why people are still loyal to the Knicks. Easily brainwashed.

They waited until the last day just to put Houston on ice. Which even that doesn't make any sense because what does that accomplish if you are not going to match?

Dolan puts the "I" in idiot.

Been saying since the news broke: we've been planning for this the whole time. How else can you explain the ninja stealth move of Felton only a day after Lin signs the deal. Unless we hastily and in a fit of emotional rage went for Felton, inquired with Portland, tied up the logistics in a night, and thought it smart to announce instead of deliberating until today at least--the plan had to have been we go for Felton if (more like when) Lin poison pills us.

Which means we never really wanted Lin that bad, or else we wouldn't have claimed to every single media outlet "we'll match anything" and we also wouldn't have told Jeremy to "set his own market value".

Our FO seems to made a simple player appraisal: Felton is better for this team than Lin. Which is pretty f'n (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

Well, I don't know him personally, he might be the nicest man on the planet, but he's dumb. And the dumb carries over to basketball.

no one here personally knows JR smith... so if you dnt mind... hop off.... u soud stereo typical

Stereotyping would be saying he is a bad person because he has tattoos.

Pointing out things he's actually DONE is not stereotyping.

lol

I find JR Smith to be the stereotypical dude guilty of vehicular manslaughter.

What is this marketing I'm constantly hearing about. The NBA shares revenue right? So the Knicks will make money off of Lin wherever he goes. No? The whole NBA will make money off of Lin.

I know this is gonna sound dumb, but how can he be overrated when he barely played even a season? If it were my team I would have signed him.

I respect that because its a double edged sword... but for whatever the case they decided not to match... and I personally root for the team not the player regardless... stupid personel moves and all..
I"m still a knick ride or die!! so as long as Jimmy D is the owner of my squad, thats my homie !!

The Knicks ae 85 percent sure they want LIN back... But the last 15 percent is keeping them from playing the game and rolling the dice.

Jared Zwerling: One of Jeremy Lin's trainers reaction to hearing some reports that the Knicks won't match: "Wow." That speaks volumes, either way.

Obviously the Knicks didn't feel that way. I feel people on "how could we let him go for nothing" I think the Knicks looked @ the numbers & felt it wasn't worth the risk. I also believe they were salty about the whole restructuring of the contract, which probably didn't help Lin either
