I wonder about those Chinese fans who all of a sudden appeared in the garden when Jeremy Lin was playing well.

Are they real Knicks fans or bandwagoners??

I'd take Griffin over most of those, but regardless, I'd flip Carmelo for him without a moment's hesitation.

You know that's false.

sounds right to me actually. first smart thing that dude has said yet.

Dirk has never been the best player in the NBA, definitely top 10, maybe 5, but never the number 1 guy.

James Dolan needs to sell the team and tour with his band. He's not cut out for ownership.

Griffin will fill seats like Lin. However Melo is a championship caliber player that can carry a team..

Carmelo had a rough season cause he played: a) with a plethora of injuries, b) played out of position as point forward for all the games up utnil Linsanity. With a normal season and a normal system he would be back to what he used to be as well. Nowitzki is 34 years old. He looked it last season. He even said so (that he felt his age). But regardless, if he was a Knick he'd have been flieted alive because that's how Knick fans like to react...over react.

Bryant is 34 too, and he's still a top3 player in this league, Garnett is way older and he was the best post player of the last PO by a HUGE margin over the 2nd one.

Nowitzki, with a good offseason in tearms of recovery, rest and training is a top10 in this league, for sure.

It's been reported. Look for a Felton 4yrs -18mill thread.

No, that was wrong. There may be a 4th year player option but the first 3 were for 10 million.

Felton, who struggled during his one season in Portland and clashed with former coach Nate McMillan, will reportedly receive a 3-year contract worth $10 million.

Please God let Felton show up in shape, Amar'e healthy and remind Melo from time to time that basketball is a team sport.

u need to watch more games. melo stay passing and his teammates let him down time after time. i can't blame dude for wanting to shoot it himself even when doubled. lots of times during games when the scrubs are bricking i yell at the tv "just let melo shoot every time" because honestly melo shooting a contested jumper has a better percentage of going in than most of the scrubs taking a wide open set shot.

When you're taking over 30 shots a game that's way too much. I think in the last playoff game he had 31 shot attempts and one assist.

That's nuts. And you don't have to listen to me, Tyson Chandler bitched about it right after the game.
not sure what game you're referring to... if it's any of the playoff games, he was literally our only player out there and it was obvious to anyone watching. i remember him setting bibby up countless times.

but melo would average at least 5 or 6 assists if his teammates could make a wide open shot.

also those shot attempt stats are swayed because lots of times melo will miss at the rim and go back up with it once or twice and it counts as 3 shot attempts. pads the rebounding stats but makes it look like he took more shots than he really did in regards to possessions.

This should tell it all.

Dolan feels betrayed.

Lin is officially a goner.

Felton signed a guaranteed three-year deal with a fourth-year player option that could make the contract worth about $18 million overall.

johnnywishbone wrote:Here is how it went because you seem to be confused.

1. Houston makes offer to Lin.
2. Lin presents offer to NY.
3. Our front office being the keystone cops that they are told Lin that they will match. Instead of saying nothing until they got an official offer.
4. Lin goes back to Houston and says they are going to match - do you want to up the offer?
5. Houston ups offer.
6. Dolan says FU you sneaky chinaman GTFO.

I'm pissed at what happened at steps, 3, 4, 5 and 6. But don't leave Lin out of the equation. He pulled a fast one.

This is all unsubstantiated hearsay and rumors from an unreliable source - Marc Berman, who makes up stories for the tabloid New York Post.

I suppose Lin was briefed as well that Raymond Felton was invited to Dolan's bbq party just because he was a nice guy? This was before Lin even got any offer sheet.

Don't believe everything you read.
