One of things you learn in covering #Knicks is you don't cross owner James Dolan. He is a very loyal guy but when disloyalty is shown, you are done with him. That may very well be case here with Jeremy Lin. It wasn't just the money, which was obscene in third year. As we have reported last couple of days, the renegotiation of an offer sheet that was agreed upon and leaked to press - after Woodson publicly said they'd match and he'd be starter - was a kick in gut to organization.

Berman.

Fact: he said this two days ago.
Fact: Lin aint coming back.

Interpret that however you want.
Play time is over.

They don't care about us. They are probably playing craps in the casinos right now. Don't expect an announcement till the last minute.

Seems awful quiet, the more I think about it, the knicks might just not say or do anything, they have alwasy been cowardly so what an easier way to avoid the media blitz and just say nothing

You're not getting one... A Rockets response will be first.

As ridiculous as Rockets delaying their sending the offer sheet. Ridiculous as Lin and agent upping the 3rd year by 6 million dollars

Yeah, those three would make anyone want to come back

I blame my father for being a Knicks, Jets,& Mets fan. Its all his fault that I'm being made to suffer like this.

Same here, I follow the mets, jets, and the knicks. They are all dysfunctional organizations but there is something mean spirited about what the Knicks do - like making the fans wait for now reason.

They were Lin's biggest supporters. The locker room right now belongs to Melo. He's the top dog.

Both of those moves are stupid.

Anthony Randolph sucks, but so does Birdman nowadays. The former is probably cheaper and not going to jail.

They don't really need either, they already have JaVale McGee as their low b-ball IQ shot blocker.

How did the Knicks answer Landry Fields offer sheet? Or how do you do it. DO you just let the time expire or do you formally answer?

Just what we need somebody into child pornography. Kids won't be allowed to the games because it'll violate Birdman's parole.

With all this luxury tax stuff it;s going to be interesting with the Yankees with Cano coming up for a contract and then Granderson I think in a year or two from now on. Hal has been public about wanting to avoid such a luxury tax and decreasing payroll.
