Felton-Kidd-Prigioni sturdier than Lin-Davis-Bibby. More wins if less media.

You don't think this is going to cause distractions? If Felton struggles or Melo struggles or the Knicks start the season 8-15 there will be nobody there to bail them out. There will be chaos in that locker room. Players, fans, and the media will all be pointing fingers looking for someone to blame.

If we don't hit the ground running next season, this franchise is doomed for at least the next 3 years.

Nope. Team is solid.

This.

No doubt that he will play better than guys thought. He finally has a great mentor in Jason Kidd.

PG - Jason Kidd/Raymond Felton/Pablo Prigioni
SG - Iman Shumpert/JR Smith/James White
SF - Carmelo Anthony/Steve Novak/Chris Copeland
PF - Amare Stoudemire/Kurt Thomas
C - Tyson Chandler/Marcus Camby

On paper, this is the best roster we've had since probably 1998.

And you people are going CRAZY???

Yes, we lost Lin. We didn't want to take that poison pill deal, so its over and done with now. We move on.

Felton put up better numbers than Lin in his time in NY. Let's hope Felton can return to NYK form and give us some bang for the bucks we shelled out for him.

I'm very optimistic for this season. I think we can win 50-55 games and be the best team in the Atlantic Division. LET'S GO!

This franchise can't even mess up correctly. I mean they make woodson look like a buffon with the statement of Lin being his starter. During Kidd's press conference every question that was asked was how he would mentor Lin. Melo calls the contract ridiculous, jr smith with his usual crazy talk and then tonight, no comment just a spokesman sends an e-mail. They trade for Felton who tells some tv station in SC that Lin is gone, and to be honest I wouldnt want to be in Felton's shoes this season, because any time he plays poorly it will get so ugly at msg he might be benched. Last but not least if the knicks claim it was a basketball decision for him not to comeback then the dummies running this team should have traded him for something before they let him test the market

I hate to admit it but this is spot on. Once people look past the Linsanity and realize we upgraded with veterans who can play, who can help this team, people will stop bitching.

This kid should have been a division I player and should have been a first round pick. If he was, whoever had him would have four years with him. This not open racism. It is unconscious racism or call it statistical bias if you prefer. Somehow, after breaking every record in the league, he still has doubters.

Different type of drama/circus. Lin has become like Tebow with his following, and the "Melo v Lin" stuff would be there throughout the year. There will be pressure to W though, as always.
