Not saying the team sucks without Lin. But a Lin-Kidd-Prig back court would have been much better.

On paper, this is the best roster we've had since probably 1998.

And you people are going CRAZY???

Yes, we lost Lin. We didn't want to take that poison pill deal, so its over and done with now. We move on.

Felton put up better numbers than Lin in his time in NY. Let's hope Felton can return to NYK form and give us some bang for the bucks we shelled out for him.

I'm very optimistic for this season. I think we can win 50-55 games and be the best team in the Atlantic Division. LET'S GO!

our lineup is crazy good.....besides SG until shumpert gets back 100%

That doesn't look too shabby to me. And I think the chemistry will be, as Stat says, "at an all time high"

Add Lin to that roster and it is even better.

disagree. The distraction would hurt the team

Felton-Kidd-Prigioni sturdier than Lin-Davis-Bibby. More wins if less media.

God our future is bleak. Besides Shumpert what other young player on this roster can we get excited about?

we have our first round pick next year and mini mle.. plus we can always make trades.

young talent can be had.

Melo is only 28, JR is only 26, felton just turned 28.

youth is very overrated.

It is unconscious racism or call it statistical bias if you prefer. Somehow, after breaking every record in the league, he still has doubters.

I still remember the day Lin broke the all time rebounding record, and the 3 pointers in one game record all in the same game. It was magical

Bruce Arthur: Knicks confirm Jeremy Lin will walk. James Dolan, to mark the occasion, moons the photocopier that produces everyone's Cablevision bill.

I hate to admit it but this is spot on. Once people look past the Linsanity and realize we upgraded with veterans who can play, who can help this team, people will stop bitching.

 no they wont

You are probably right. I should say, once we start winning, and we will, and we see that Lin will put up decent numbers but on a losing team, this level of bitching will die down. Our team is loaded and is ready to make a run, I wish people could see that instead of crying about losing Lin, a good player who has a lot to learn who probably is not ready to lead this team. I'd rather have Felton bring back A'mare and go to war with the guys we have.

Possibly not a good idea for Scot O'Neil to give Morey a signed Lin jersey.

Honestly lost some of the excitement about this team. We only have one young player in Shump who's coming off of injury.

We have an old team and no picks. This team is a win now by all means and I honestly don't believe we have the leadership/dedication to win it all. Hoping the next 3yrs go by fast and we rebuild this mess.

Lin was someone you can watch as the future, now we have only "present" players and not much potential to get that chip.

i think it's silly to lose a good player for nothing.

that being said, a lot of you are jumping the gun to think lin would one day be an all star. how many times are you gonna fall for this with young players on the knicks. i know, this one is different. maybe but the chances are slim.

Fields leaves for nothing, understandable. His contract might have been hard to move once matched.

But Lin? c'mon now. The front office must have been posting with us on RealGM.

God our future is bleak. Besides Shumpert what other young player on this roster can we get excited about?

Novak :dontknow:

Begley saying Woodson's comments about Lin being the starting PG could have pushed Houston to make an offer that they would take a little more seriously.
