well depending how clevelands team Performs they could be very good picks(they shouldnt lotto protexct them). turns even better if bynum leaves Cleveland for HOuston 8-).

its a crappy deal for us though cuz we dont get rid of them crappy contracts

We would dump JR's and Duhon's contracts.

But I'm pretty sure the Cavs would be near the top of the East for years to come with Bynum and Kyrie
I like this team

add in Multiples 1st round picks from Cleveland in the trade and Maybe a Few from the laker as well.

Lakers can't trade their 1st round pick until 2017.

A supposed insider at ClutchFans is claiming a few things. I'm not a fan of forum insiders, but it's a speculation thread so what the hell. The thread is below.

http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=223668

Just a few highlights:
- The Bulls notified Morey that they won't match Asik
- Asik/Lin won't effect HOU puruit of D12
- Hennigen is looking to rebuild. Doesn't want Bynums contract or anyone's at all. Rebuild the way OKC did. Picks and picks... He doesnt want to be good in year 1, 2, or even 3. Just get pieces each and every year.
- Jordan Hill hasn't signed with the Lakers neither has Ebanks. Both told they could be in S&T. Orlando likes both in a possible 3 team deal.
- Magic want cheap, young prospects
- ORL loves the pieces the Rockets have. In love with Lamb.
- HOU likes Bynum

You can take a read for yourself if interested.

That is worse than the Rockets deal for a rental. I would rather just take Lamb/Parsons and 1st in 2013.

Don't think I like that. I would love to know what Houston is actually offering. Would Cleveland do that if Bynum does not extend or commit to re-signing after this season? Don't see them doing it unless he does. If I recall, it was reported he would sign with Cleveland. Still like potential Houston deal better, depending on it's structure. May be a ploy to up the Rockets offer.

Wow if the Orlando F/O heard complaints about the Nets trade, us getting Varejao back would set off alarms at homeland security.

I really wish we could find out what Houston was offering exactly. It makes no sense to pass this offer up or continue entertaining other teams offers if it's that good. They obviously might not be offering nearly as much as we think. They may not be able to take back as many bad contracts, even though 1 or 2 would be just fine.

I just don't see how even just a Lamb/Parsons/Filler/2 1st Rounders and taking bad contracts off of our books is worse than anything else the Lakers or Cavs have been reportedly offering.

Again, I'm all for flipping Bynum to some other team, but I'd rather it be to Houston for some of their young players and draft picks.

I would be extremely happy with gomagic77's three-way deal with the Lakers and T-Wolves. I might be biased because I was in grad school at Arizona when Williams was there, but I think he will develop into Josh Smith with a better jumper without the headcase. I wouldn't even mind letting them take Martin if they throw in an extra pick. They would actually instantly become a win-now team with Rubio, Martin, Batum, Love, and Pek as their starters and Gasol as their sixth man.

Sounds like posturing to me. No way the Cavs have anything we'd want.

Return to Orlando Magic
