Grey 12 - Val 18 - Amir 18.

That's roughly how the minutes will be distributed for the first half of the season IMO.

For the second half, depending on if Val plays better then expected his minutes could increase (taking over Grey completely) but doubtful if they were winning with Grey starting. If they aren't it could turn out like this:

Bargs 35 - Ed 14/23min
Val - 25 - Amir 23/14min

Interestingly the contract of Valanciunas:

3.3 (first year), 3.5 , 3.6 (TO at the third), 4.6 (another TO), and 6.1 (QO)

I think training camp and pre season, is gonna put JV in the starting lineup , with Amir and Davis coming off the bench providing engery and shotblocking at 4 and 5. i do think some matchups Gray may be the back up 5 , or start. But there's only a couple Centre matchups where that will happen. Not a knock on Gray but i dont see him being in the rotation every night, resulting in JV ,AJ,AD all playing less then 18 minutes, because Bargnani will see minutes at both the 4 and 5 , around 32 minutes a game giving ed davis 16 at the 4, maybe 2 minutes at the 5, giving him 18 mins a game. Jv i think will start and play 20 mins at the 5 , And i think amir will be the backup 5 playing around 20 minutes 2, and the rest of the minutes at the 5 will be bargnani slidding 2 the 5, are ed slidding 2 the 5. That's just my opinion you never know its gonna go but that would be my guess of the big man rotation.

Depends on Rockets line - up starting line on the opening night but as far as I can tell Motiejunas will have a good opportunity to prove himself. I think it actually might be a close race between the two of them.
