Supposedly his standing reach is 9'3", but it looks longer to me. That would make his standing reach slightly shorter than Cole Aldrich.

Didn't Cole Aldrich wear 2-inch lifts at the combine, or something stupid like that?

Also, it seems as though most height/standing reach measurements from Europe are taken barefoot. Nobody seems to be shorter than advertised, taller if there is a discrepancy. Darko, Bargnani, Roko, Rubio, Dirk and the Gasols, to name a few.

Jonas game 2 - 14pts 8rebs 6/8 shooting 5pf 2Blks 25mins
RealGM: JONAS IS OUR SAVIOUR!

I'm expecting 9ppg and 7rpg on 50% shooting in 19mpg. I'll be happy with that, and would be thrilled if he puts up better.

I'm a huge Jonas fan, searched EVERYWHERE for his Lithuania jersey but couldn't find it. I'm gonna just buy a White raptors jersey of his now. Enjoy the ride guys lol

Joonas looks legit with upper tier potential at his position. Also I love your sig could you make me one with a blazers logo on it lol

Thanks man, it's actually TurboZone who made my sig. He's probably made most of the sigs on the raptors side of the forum. Maybe you should pm him?

Interesting. So his standing reach should be 9'4" + if the measurement is correct. That would put him on par with Greg Oden, who has a similar height & wingspan. Makes sense.

I think its stupid that NBA arent measuring players every year just so fans would have latest info...

This. Amir, for example, is still pegged at 210 lbs. Ridiculous.

Do u guys feel he's better than Anthony Davis RIGHT NOW at this stage of their careers? I'm not saying over all career.

Davis is much much better. Jonas is bad at defense right now and a project at that end who's expected to improve because of his physical tools. Davis is elite at defense right now. And Davis is a better offensive player as well. Davis could make the all-star team as a rookie IMO. Rookie Jonas will be fortunate to better than sophmore Kanter and Biyombo, who I think Davis was probably better than when he was in high school

Wow, if all that you say is true about Davis being "much" "much" better than Jonas, I'm very much intrigued in the matchup when they do actually go head to head in regular season competition. I think Jonas can hold his own against rookie Anthony Davis IMO.

I'm not going to claim that Jonas is better than Davis, but you should take everything Dr. Mufasa says about Jonas with a grain of salt. He's probably the biggest Jonas hater on these boards, and most of what he says regarding Jonas is completely ridiculous.

Just thought I'd let you know.

Davis went up against boys and hasn't looked quite as good on team USA

Don't listen to the troll  he's a known as a Jonas hater

Both players are even in terms of where they are in their development. Offensively Jonas has the edge on Davis. He's great at finishing in the pick and roll, has a set of post moves, has a mid range jumper and an 80% free throw shooter. Defensively Davis has the edge on Jonas. Davis has great defensive awareness, he great at guard the pick and roll, and plays sound post defense. Jonas is no slouch on defense but he still has his bad moments when guarding the pick and roll and defending the post. Both need to add strength, more so Davis being just 220 lbs, while Jonas is 248lbs. Both will have good rookie seasons and I see both being great players in their respective careers.

Do not forget Olympic games. Thats where Davis and Jonas should met for the first time. USA has no second Center, so I expect Davis to play there.

Davis is definitely better IMO. Without a doubt.
Jonas has some serious red flags. Overrated athlete, constant fouling, defends with his arms, crap pick and roll defense, and overall defensive awareness is kinda out of sync.

Talking about areas where Jonas is better, his body is more NBA ready, I think his touch around the rim is better, his rebounding is probably better although his numbers clearly regressed last year. He is definitely a better pick and roll player, his post moves are more polished, and I dont know about Davis, but I am pretty sure Jonas is a better passer out of double teams.
The best part is, Davis played against kids, Jonas played against men and yet their stats are almost identical. That gives hope. Jonas faced not only NBA all stars, but also Destroyed few other promising NBA youngsters like Meyers Leonard and Nikola Vucevic. He is so much better than other centers his age, thats not even funny.

I'll give him credit, he sticks to his guns. It's been over a year now, he had an obsession with Enes Kanter last year during the draft. So far, looks like he was completely wrong about Kanter, let's just hope he is about Val as well.

Kanter put up 12/11.5/50% per 36 last year at 19 who didn't play college ball. His skill level in the pros has been very disappointing but he is hardly a bust. I would take Kanter over Derrick Williams, the guy literally everyone else had as the 2nd best prospect in the draft, so there's that. I think Kanter goes above all the other top 10 picks except Irving and Valanciunas if the redraft was done today tbh
