and wth?! I have a serious question. my laptop's busted and I want to recover my files. searching for some reliable source so I can make my hard drive into an external drive. I don't trust anyone in the web except you guys so can anyone give me tips to do this? and is there any way I can use my hard drive converted to an external drive without reformatting it first.

looking at the draft boards there is one guy who still has to pick a game for the rpg cat. shouldn't be too much longer

You can get a SATA/PATA/IDE Drive USB 2.0 adapter converter cable if you don't want the case.

wait I still need an adapter for my hard drive/external drive to function? :-?

from other reviews and tutorial I posted, it functioned well right away just by connecting it to a laptop with a usb cable. hmmm... also, some say that I should re-format the memory before storing new files after retrieving the old files. is this necessary or just a precautionary measure?
