We chinese Rockets fans don't like D12,we already have multiple young guys,Jeremy lamb,Royce White,D-MO.TJ,Parsons,Patrick,Morris,we prefer to see these guys playing on court. We do not need D12,honestly

Orlando Dawg wrote:Dwight wants to play the season out with the Magic and be the NBA center of attention for another year ... it's why his agent now says he will explore FA in 2013.
Also, the Magic have never intended to really trade Dwight ... they will never do that, it's all a show.
Where this leads to probably a 50/50 chance he resigns with the Magic. Alot will depend on how well Dwight and Jaque Vaughn mesh.

I agree with Dawg. Orlando is not going to trade Dwight, or at the least not untill the trade deadline.
He has changed his mind many times, why not one more time? After he sees his new coach and the direction of new management. Not to mention, he will know that if we do not trade him and he leaves he will lose his Bird rights. That's a threat of losing a lot of money.
So we all need to cheer for and love Dwight until he is no longer wearing a Orlando Magic jersey!

Don't know if this has been posted already, but it's damn true.
All I want now is for him to be traded and let us all move on.

Dwight trade value might go to negative by the trade deadline if his spinal injury is as bad as he says it is.

I felt the same way till last week, now I'm more like "let's bench him or play Dwight short minutes so his value will go down" and then trade him by mid feb. He's showing absolutely no respect for the team that drafted him, allowed him to shine and payed him a bunch of $$$.

he is only losing a few million. He gets moved to somewhere else, especially somewhere that is winning and could win a title (LA), he will make that money back in endorsements. There has been too much bad blood between Dwight, his camp, the FO and the team. He feels betrayed by the organization (somewhat true, Otis threw all the dirty laundry out to be aired in public) and the FO left Otis in place for too long. I'm not saying Dwight is right or wrong, but his view will easily be, why do i have to wait longer, waste a few more years of my prime, so that the team can burn thru Otis' mistakes?

The longer you keep Howard the less value you get back. Houston is the best offer many picks, take back contacts and rookies. no point keeping Howard

We've made NO moves this offseason while literally every single team made some kind of move and got better. The only move we made was losing Ryan Anderson.

this whole thing has gotten so bad, it feels like Bill Clinton or Jimmy Carter should step in or something.

What was that Houston deal again?

Jimmy Carter acts alone.

Well its not the objective for this season is for your team to get better or even stay the same. They are looking to seriously rebuild. The worse you guys are this year the better it works out for your future.

For one, I dont think he gets traded because the FO does not like the offers thus far. But with that being said, he also will not play any games because he will CLAIM to still be hurt. I dont even believe he was that hurt to begin with, why trust his word? He's going to be deathly injured until he's traded then he'll feel just fine. Just as last season the timing of his injury coincided with Stan coming out and saying Dwight wanted him fired.

Keeping Howard will destroy chemistry in the locker room as affects other magic players who will be included in trades. Howard gonna play crap bad morale and constant uncertainty. Longer you keel him lower value he has. It would be Howard trade talk everyday, everyone is already sick of this going on for over a year.

Bruteque wrote:HOU is not going to up their offer. A package of TOR pick plus DAL pick and taking on JRich already beats what everybody else is offering. Quite frankly I am surprised HOU is even offering that much. Even the Bobcats and the Kings are smart enough not to offer that much to inherit the Dwightmare.

sums it up pretty well. I see people talk about keeping Howard, why? So by January 15, you get another offer of Lopez@ 15mil, Humphries @ 12/season. Or if you keep him till the end of the season you get a token first round for his bird rights. Meanwhile, you miss out on the opportunity to rebuild faster by getting a high pick. And be sure, nba has a way of assigning high picks to the teams that lost a superstar.

I think when your GM wakes up he'll accept a face saving offer, perhaps Turk/Duhon (not really terrible contracts to begin with) to Houston, Richardson to LA. Toronto 1st round pick from Houston and perhaps one this years rookies (but not Lamb)

best option is draft picks and send away long term bad contracts....

Richardson/Davis
