Technically hes been guarding the opposing teams best post player for some time so he should be able to make that adjustment. Kinda the same move that a lot of other big name PFs (like KG, [player x], Vin Baker, Shawn Kemp, etc) all made at the tail end of their careers. Moreso than position its probably minutes that is more important. To keep Brand peak hes probably not going to be able to play more than 28-29 minutes a night...thats really more of the drawback.

Kaman was one of the 4 guys i mentioned that i was debating over before picking Brand. Just not a defensively strong enough player to put next to David Lee was why i passed, but definitely another steal this late. He was the highest ranked "center center" on my board left.

I agree... he went 106 in our last BAT.

@allan- anytime... I like ur team... My concern would be def over all(outside of Bogut) but u have a ton of weapons... Barnes has potential and I look forward to seeing what he does this year...
like that i have 2 reliable centers who are starting quality

I think it was more of a overall "net value" benefit for Moo's team...

I think hes actually better suited for C than PF at this point of his career. Hes not as mobile as he was in his prime but hes still extremely strong and was rated as the best post defender in the NBA this past season on some metrics. He should be able to make the switch just fine. Not having to move around as much and chase quicker PFs should work well for him. There are several shortish Cs that are in the NBA that are more than fine due to their physical strength, intensity and smarts (guys like Kendrick Perkins, [player y], etc.). But yes from a value standpoint he was kinda hard to pass on.

yup.

26 years old. He just isn't a PG for the Triangle offense. But he is durable and in this role he is one of the best at what he does. Great start for my second unit. I believe he was picked in the 3rd round last BAT.

good 2 year contract too

thank you sir.

Couple things went into making my decision. Sessions is a great energy player for the bench. He really can make my 2nd unit.

I also think i can play Lawson and Sessions together and let Lawson be more of a scorer and play off the ball and let Sessions create. Sessions is 6'3 and can guard some 2's at times.
